𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗦 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆
The College of Allied Medical Sciences (CAMS) conducted its 8th Clinical Graduation Ceremony with the theme, “Celebrating Excellence, Inspiring Compassion,” marking the completion of clinical internship for senior students taking up Bachelor of Science in Biology, Medical Technology, Pharmacy, and Radiologic Technology, on August 15, 2026, at the Lyceum of the Philippines University Auditorium.
The ceremony formally recognized the achievements of fourth-year CAMS students across their respective clinical rotations alongside individuals who obtained special awards for their outstanding internship performance in various medical hospitals.
Dr. Maria Theresa O. Pilapil, Vice President for Administration, opened the event by congratulating the clinical graduates and warmly welcoming the keynote speaker, faculty, parents, guardians, and students, while Dr. Mark Irvin Celis, Vice President for Academic Affairs extended his greetings and inspirational message to the clinical graduates.
Guest speaker, Mr. Alvin Guinto delivered the keynote address, highlighting the importance of the “3 Cs” that all students should aim for; Competence, compassion, and character, as they become professionals the nation can trust, reminding them to make a difference, “one patient, one decision, one act of integrity, one day at a time.”
Dr. Catherine L. Cababa led the endorsement of candidates, officially marking their formal transition from clinical interns to future healthcare professionals.
During the clinical graduation proper, students from their respective programs were awarded with certificates, as well as the recognition of those who obtained special awards from the duration of their internship as top-performing students.
Student body representative, Ms. Mary Charlotte San Pedro from the Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, then delivered an inspiring message, encouraging her fellow clinical graduates to take pride in their accomplishments, not just as college students but also healthcare professionals, and reminding every student never to forget what they chose their programs for.
The Graduates’ Pledge was led by Ms. Ron Joaquin Paungan, from Bachelor of Science in Biology program, during which students pledge to uphold their commitment to becoming ethical professionals, responsible leaders and compassionate servants to the community.
Closing the ceremony, Dr. Catherine L. Cababa encouraged every student to continue growing, questioning, and becoming professionals that must never stop learning.
The ceremony concluded with a procession of the clinical graduates as they step to the next chapter of their futures in the healthcare field.
