BINHS RURAL FARM SCHOOL Munting Kaalaman: Kakawati (Madre de Cacao) 🌿

Ang kakawati ay isang halamang may maraming pakinabang sa ating school garden. Ginagamit ito bilang natural na pataba at pampayaman ng lupa dahil sa taglay nitong nitrogen. Maaari rin itong gawing panlaban sa peste at panakip sa lupa upang mapanatili ang kahalumigmigan.

In celebration of Nutrition Month with the theme “Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat! Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!”, our RFS students harvested malunggay, papaya, and tanglad for our School-Based Feeding Program. 💚

The BINHS Rural Farm School continues to establish and maintain productive school gardens that serve as a sustainable source of fresh vegetables for our feeding program. This initiative is made possible through the collaboration of RFS teachers and the School Feeding Coordinator, ensuring nutritious food for our learners.
