📢 ANNOUNCEMENT | CLASS AND OFFICE ARRANGEMENTS
August 19, 2026 (Wednesday)

In accordance with the suspension of classes announced by the Province of Cavite, LPU Cavite will implement the following arrangements tomorrow, August 19:

🔹 International School (JHS & SHS): Synchronous Online Distance Learning (ODL) – real-time online classes

🔹 College: Asynchronous Online Classes for all colleges, except CITHM, which will conduct synchronous online classes

🔹 Office Operations: Work-from-Home arrangements via "Avast Ye! LPU Virtual Office"

🔹 Registrar’s Office: Closed in view of the Commencement Exercises at Solaire

🔹 Graduation Sash and Ticket Release: Onsite distribution from 8:00 AM–12:00 NN for the LPU Cavite - International School.

Students, parents, faculty members, and employees are advised to take note of these arrangements and plan accordingly.

📢 SUSPENSION OF CLASSES | CAVITE
AUGUST 19, 2026 (WEDNESDAY)

Dahil sa patuloy na malakas na pag-ulan at sa umiiral na weather conditions sa Cavite, ipinapaalam na SUSPENDIDO ANG KLASE SA LAHAT NG ANTAS (ALL LEVELS) sa public at private schools sa buong lalawigan ng Cavite.

Following the announcements from the Presidential Communications Office and from LPU Cavite, in-person classes are suspended tomorrow, August 18, 2026, Tuesday.

Synchronous online distance learning through real-time online classes will be implemented in both Junior High School and Senior High School.

Candidates for SHS graduation may claim graduation sash, tickets, and pictures on August 19, 2026, Wednesday, from 8:00am to 12:00pm.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Following the announcement from Malacañang, face-to-face classes at Lyceum of the Philippines University–Cavite are suspended tomorrow, August 18, 2026.

Classes will continue synchronously online. Students are advised to coordinate with their instructors for the schedule and online class details.

Meanwhile, LPU Cavite will implement a Work-from-Home (WFH) arrangement for all offices, except for the Physical Plant and Facilities Department, which will remain on-site to attend to essential campus operations.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 128, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 18, 2026:

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Class Schedule & Learning Modalities (August 17–21):

Please be guided by the schedule of learning modalities and office operations for the upcoming week.

August 17, 2026 (Monday), synchronous online distance learning (real-time online classes) will be implemented.

August 18, 2026 (Tuesday) will proceed with regular in-person classes.

On August 19 (Wednesday), classes will transition to synchronous online distance learning (real-time online classes), and please note that all LPU offices will be closed due to Day 1 of the College Graduation.

On August 20 (Thursday), students will have asynchronous online distance learning in line with the IS Graduation Day.

Finally, there will be no in-person or online classes on August 21 (Friday) in observance of Ninoy Aquino Day, a special non-working holiday.

For those who were unable to claim their tickets, sashes, and pictures during the rehearsal, please be reminded that you may claim them at the IS Office until August 18 (Tuesday) ONLY.

Please ensure you bring your accomplished pre-graduation contract and official receipt to claim your materials.

Additionally, please be advised that the IS Office will be CLOSED starting at 12:00 PM on August 19 and will remain CLOSED ALL DAY on August 20.
