Building stronger communities through collaborative planning!
The 1st Day of the Training Workshop on the Formulation and Updating of the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) marked an important step toward shaping a responsive and sustainable future for the community. The activity gathered representatives from various sectors to enhance their understanding of the planning process, review development priorities, and contribute to the formulation of strategic programs and initiatives.
Dr. Rolando B. Talon Jr., Public Schools District Supervisor, participated in the workshop, underscoring the commitment of the education sector to support local development efforts and ensure that the needs of learners remain an integral part of the community's growth agenda.

Philippine Red Cross Orients Rosario District on Services, Programs, and Membership
Elementary school heads and School Red Cross Focal Persons of Rosario District participated in the DiR2K: Orientation on Red Cross Services and Programs facilitated by Ms. Marie Imperial, Community Services Representative (CSR) of the Philippine Red Cross, to strengthen awareness of the organization's programs and services that support schools and communities.
During the orientation, participants were introduced to various Philippine Red Cross services and initiatives, including First Aid and Basic Life Support trainings, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) programs, blood services, health and welfare services, emergency response initiatives, and volunteer engagement opportunities. The discussion highlighted how these programs can contribute to safer, healthier, and more resilient school communities.
Ms. Imperial also presented the Philippine Red Cross Membership Program, including the Classic Membership for individuals aged 3β25 years old. Participants were informed of the membership benefits, such as coverage for accidental death, disability and dismemberment, accidental medical reimbursement, accidental burial assistance, daily hospital allowance, and other applicable benefits in accordance with membership provisions.
The activity provided school heads and focal persons with valuable information that can support school-based health, safety, preparedness, and emergency response initiatives. It likewise strengthened the partnership between Rosario District and the Philippine Red Cross in promoting learner welfare and community resilience.
Through activities such as this, Rosario District remains committed to empowering school leaders with relevant knowledge, programs, and partnerships that contribute to the delivery of safe, supportive, and disaster-resilient learning environments.

π’ DISTRICT UPDATE | Schools Division Superintendent Conducts Monitoring and Technical Assistance in Rosario District
On June 18, 2026, Dr. Rosemarie D. Torres, Schools Division Superintendent, conducted a Monitoring and Technical Assistance visit to the 7 public elementary schools and 3 public secondary schools of Rosario District to assess school readiness and provide technical guidance in preparation for the incoming school year.
The monitoring centered on key priorities of the Department of Education, including the implementation of the Three-Term School Calendar, the utilization of the ILAW Format in lesson planning, the integration of the Emergency Response Framework (HAYO, HINAY, HINGA, and HINTO) in school preparedness initiatives, schools' plans for intervention and enrichment programs, and the continuous strengthening of Inclusive Education to ensure quality, safe, and equitable learning opportunities for all learners.
The activity provided an avenue for meaningful dialogue, collaborative problem-solving, and technical assistance, reinforcing the district's commitment to strengthening school systems and enhancing instructional and operational readiness.

Rosario District actively participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) held at Rosario Elementary School on June 18, 2026, reaffirming its commitment to promoting disaster preparedness and ensuring the safety of learners and personnel.
The activity was graced by Dr. Rosemarie D. Torres, Schools Division Superintendent; Dr. Rolando P. Talon Jr., Public Schools District Supervisor; Khrystinne Jem D. Rosete, Project Development Officer; Ma. Nonita S. Alarca, School Head of Rosario Elementary School; and Mr. Mark Harry David and Romeo Gonje of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Rosario.
Learners, teachers, and school personnel successfully carried out the standard βDuck, Cover, and Holdβ procedure and orderly evacuation protocols, demonstrating readiness and resilience in the face of emergencies.
Through continuous disaster preparedness activities and strong collaboration with stakeholders, Rosario District remains steadfast in fostering safe, vigilant, and disaster-ready learning environments for all.

Public Schools District Supervisor Dr. Rolando B. Talon Jr. spearheaded the monitoring visits at DPJES and MCDEES on June 17, 2026, during the Instructional Block.
The visits served as an avenue for checking on school operations and reviewing program progress. Technical assistance was also provided to DPJES School Head Mrs. Danilyn G. Siwa and MCDEES School Head Mrs. Susan A. Guanzon to collaboratively work through current initiatives and challenges.

Advancing Inclusive Education: Collaborative Planning and Kamustahan π€β¨
Earlier today, the District Admin Key, Special Education Teachers (SPET), Schools Focal Persons, and Grade 1 to 6 Receiving Teacher representatives gathered for the Inclusive Education Coordinatorship Meeting under the guidance of our Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Rolando B. Talon Jr.
The productive session focused on strengthening our support systems to better serve every learner. Key discussions revolved around the Inclusive Education Receiving Teacher Kamustahan to address classroom challenges, the refinement of Individual Education Plans (IEP), and a deeper review of the Classification of Disability and Difficulties for targeted student interventions.
Together, we continue to build a more supportive, accessible, and truly inclusive learning environment for all our students.
