We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Domingo P. Eroles, our OIC/Head Teacher VI, and Ms. Rowena Perlita S. Naval, our Head Teacher I, for their unwavering support in organizing this event. Thank you to our Barkada Kontra Droga Officers, to Ma'am Arvie Misal, Ma'am Rachel Flores and other teachers for facilitating this event. Your dedication to our youth is inspiring, and we are grateful for your hard work in keeping our school safe from drugs. We know that the fight against drugs is not an easy one, but we are confident that with your continued efforts, we can make a difference in the lives of our youth and our community.
A special thank you goes to our esteemed visitors, PCpl. Florenda Asotigue and Pat. Donny Rata, for sharing their knowledge and expertise on the pressing issue of drug abuse. Your presence here today is a testament to your commitment in protecting our community and safeguarding the future of our youth. To our distinguished guests from the CCPNP, we extend our sincere appreciation for partnering with us in this important endeavor. Your unwavering support in raising awareness and empowering our students to make healthy choices is invaluable. Drug abuse is a scourge that knows no boundaries. It destroys lives, tears apart families, and casts a dark shadow over our society. It is a problem that requires a concerted effort from all sectors of our community. As educators, we have a fundamental responsibility to equip our students with the knowledge and skills they need to make informed decisions about their health and well-being. This symposium is a testament to our commitment to fulfilling that responsibility. Through interactive discussions, engaging presentations, and hands-on activities, we aim to empower our students to:
-Understand the devastating consequences of drug abuse.
-Recognize the warning signs of addiction
-Develop effective coping mechanisms and refusal skills
-Seek help when needed We believe that by raising awareness, empowering our students, and promoting prevention, we can create a drug-free environment where our youth can thrive.
To our students, We urge you to take this opportunity to learn everything you can about drug abuse and its dangers. The information you gain today will empower you to make healthy choices throughout your lives. Remember, you are not alone in this fight. If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction, there is help available. Do not hesitate to reach out for support.
