Muling nasa diskresyon ng mga paaralan ang pagbibigay ng Alternative Delivery Mode para sa ating mga mag aaral upang tuloy tuloy ang kanilang learning sa safety ng kanilang mga tahanan.

Following the recent flooding, personnel from the Philippine Navy’s Training Center, Philippine Fleet, led by Capt Steve C Morata PN (GSC), Superintendent, arrived early at Sangley Point National High School on August 12, 2026, to lend a hand in the cleanup. The Navy personnel took on the task of clearing debris and cleaning the school grounds, helping the school recover from the effects of the flooding.

Aside from the cleanup, the Navy personnel also distributed rice porridge to SPNHS learners and provided free haircut services. They also donated trash bins to the school, adding practical support to the school’s efforts to keep the campus clean and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment.

Sangley Point National High School, under the leadership of Ms. Cherry Leen C. Marquez, School Principal, extends its sincere appreciation to the Philippine Navy’s Training Center, Philippine Fleet, for their time, service, and generosity. Their support during this time of need is greatly valued by the entire SPNHS community. Thank you for lending a hand and for extending your service and care to our learners and school.

The Senior High School faculty of Sangley Point National High School conducted its third School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) on July 21, 2026, focusing on the provisions of DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026, which sets the policy guidelines on learner discipline and the appropriate interventions for addressing behavioral concerns in schools.

The session was facilitated by Sir Rickely S. Banta, Guidance Teacher, who discussed the key provisions of the policy and emphasized the vital role of educators in ensuring a safe and motivating learning environment.

The activity was initiated by Ms. Cherry Leen C. Marquez, School Principal II, as part of the school's continuing commitment to strengthening policy implementation and ensuring that all teaching personnel remain informed and aligned with current DepEd issuances. Such initiatives reinforce the school's commitment to fostering a school environment where every learner feels secure, valued, and supported.

Guided by DepEd Order No. 003, s. 2025, which provides the guidelines for the quality-assured assessment of Senior High School Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (SHS-TVL) learners, Sangley Point National High School gathered parents and guardians of Grade 12 learners from the Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM), Computer Systems Servicing (CSS), and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) specializations for a Parent Orientation on the FREE TESDA Assessment, July 20, 2026.

The orientation gave parents a clear picture of what lies ahead as their children prepare for the TESDA National Certification assessment. Assessment procedures, documentary requirements, schedules, and other important reminders were discussed to help families understand both the process and the value of earning a nationally recognized qualification before graduation.

The activity was led by Ms. Cherry Leen C. Marquez, School Principal II, together with Ms. Irene A. Sacbibit, OIC–Assistant Principal II, Ms. Raquel P. Montefalcon, Subject Group Head, and the Grade 12 TVL teachers. Their guidance highlighted the school's shared responsibility with parents in preparing learners not only to finish Senior High School but also to leave with competencies that meet industry standards.

The Senior High School faculty of Sangley Point National High School participated in a School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) on ILAW Lesson Planning on July 17, 2026, as part of the school's preparation for the implementation of DepEd Order No. 016, s. 2026, 𝑮𝒖𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝑳𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒏.

The session was facilitated by Ma'am Cherry Leen C. Marquez, School Principal II; Ma'am Irene A. Sacbibit, OIC-Assistant Principal II; and Ma'am Raquel P. Montefalcon, Subject Group Head, who guided teachers through the ILAW framework and its application in lesson planning.

To carry the discussions forward, writeshop sessions are scheduled on July 24 and July 31, 2026. During these sessions, teachers will work together to develop, refine, and finalize their ILAW lesson plans for classroom use.
