PAOWIN ES CONDUCTED PARENTSβ ORIENTATION FOR SY 2026β2027
Paowin Elementary School conducted its Parentsβ Orientation for School Year 2026β2027 to inform parents and guardians about the schoolβs important policies, programs, and updates for the new academic year.
The program was formally opened by School Head Sir Yiannis T. Legisma, who delivered the welcome message and emphasized the importance of strong collaboration between parents and the school in ensuring learnersβ success. He also reaffirmed the schoolβs commitment to the effective implementation of DepEd policies and programs for the school year.
During the orientation, Ms. Kris Jean P. Ansay discussed the Guidelines on the Implementation of the Three-Term School Calendar in Basic Education, providing parents with information on the new academic calendar and school schedule.
The Revised Guidelines on Classroom Assessment, Grading System, and Awards and Recognition for the K to 12 Basic Education Program were presented by Mrs. Chairla O. Carayap and Mrs. Marlene O. Samson, who explained the updated policies on learner assessment, grading procedures, and criteria for awards and recognition.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Eufemia P. Nequinto discussed the Guidelines on Learning Continuity in Emergencies, highlighting the schoolβs plans and strategies to ensure uninterrupted learning during emergencies and other unforeseen circumstances.
The orientation concluded with the closing remarks of Mrs. Haidelyn E. Esguerra, who expressed gratitude to the parents and stakeholders for their active participation and continued support for the schoolβs programs and initiatives.
The activity served as an avenue to strengthen the partnership between the school and parents in supporting learnersβ academic success and holistic development throughout the school year.
