"Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman"

✨ A productive start fueled by unity and volunteerism!✨
Cagutsan ES successfully launched the opening of Brigada Eskwela 2026 through a meaningful program bringing together teachers, parents, barangay officials, stakeholders, and community volunteers.

The day began with a parade, followed by the opening program, and the start of various school activities. A highlight of the event was the Commitment Wall Signing, where parents, teachers, stakeholders, and community partners pledged their support and dedication for creating a safe, clean and conducive learning environment for every learners.

To all volunteers, parents, and stakeholders, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for showing your commitment and dedication on strengthening the spirit of bayanihan within our community.

Together, let's continue to build a safer and learner-friendly environment for all.

𝐂𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐒 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞

Catbalogan City - Cagutsan Elementary School successfully concluded its Graduation Rites for School Year 2025-2026, marking a significant milestone for its young learners, with the theme, "Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character."

The event was a testament to the school's spirit of unity, made possible through the collaboration of the teaching and non-teaching staff, together with the unwavering support of the Barangay Officials. Leading the local community's support was Brgy. Captain, Hon. Jacky T. Maribojoc, duly represented by First Councelor, Hon. Oscar M. Maribojoc Sr.

School Head, Ma'am Nancy A. Yboa presided over the rites, formally presenting the graduates and celebrating their academic achievements. Adding inspiration to the occassion. Mr. Jarin B. Sales served as the Guest Speaker, delivering a message focued on graduates' potential to lead and contribute to the nation's future. Representing the Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Carmela Tamayo, CESO V, was Ma'am Rutchelle R. Panganiban, who served as her duly authorized representative to confirm the candidates as graduates.

As the learners walked across the stage to receive their diplomas, the ceremony served as a colorful conclusion to a year of hard work and a hopeful beginning for their next educational journey.

𝗖𝗮𝗴𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗦 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗚 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

Cagutsan Elementary School successfully conducted the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (S.E.L.G.) Elections for School Year 2026, providing learners with a meaningful opportunity to exercise leadership, responsibility, and democratic participation.

The election process was carried out in an orderly and peaceful manner, with active involvement from pupils, teachers, and election facilitators. Aspiring S.E.L.G. officers presented their platforms and leadership goals, encouraging informed and responsible voting among the learners.

The activity aimed to strengthen pupils’ awareness of good governance, accountability, and active citizenship. The successful conduct of the S.E.L.G. Elections reflects the school’s continuous commitment to nurturing young leaders and promoting a strong culture of student participation.

Aspiring Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) candidates of Cagutsan Elementary School conducted a room-to-room campaign in the morning of February 03, 2026, as part of the SELG Elections for S.Y. 2026–2027. The activity was previously postponed due to the cancellation of classes caused by inclement weather.

In the afternoon, the candidates participated in the Miting de Avance, where they further presented their platforms and advocated for responsible leadership, promoting active learner engagement and democratic participation within the school community.
