This is the love of a God worth serving. ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ™ It's love that is given freely! Love that is proven through sacrifice and is not dependent on our own ability to earn it. โค๏ธ This is the love that our God extends to us. The only thing we have to do is accept it and allow it to be the guiding light of our lives. ๐Ÿ’–๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ™

Devour means โ€œto be swallowed up, overwhelmed, drowned.โ€ This is exactly what sin does to our lives! We become consumed by our guilt, shame, unhealthy patterns, additions, and often, it can take over to steal from every part of our lives. We have to be alert to ways that compromise can slowly slip into our lives. Things that may feel harmless to start can grow into a situation that can shatter the very fabric of your life. ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿšจ

How do you treat God when things in your life don't go according to your plan? Do you argue with Him using logic, blame, or coercion? Maybe you thought you would have had kids at your age, or perhaps a loved one was supposed to be on the earth longer. Your Creator is all powerful and all-knowing. Is your faith strong enough to trust in His power and His divinity? ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

This passage tells us a story about people who struggled to say committed to their new faith, easily being pulled back into old habits and ways. They wanted to abuse the message of freedom to mean that they were not required to have any restraint in their lives. Paul corrects this erroneous thinking and reminds them what the true reason for the spiritual freedom Christ had died for: they are free so that they may be able to serve others in love! ๐Ÿ•Š โค๏ธ

Good morning, Student LinCers! Today, let's find comfort and rest in the comforting words of Matthew 11:28-30: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." What a profound invitation from Jesus Himselfโ€”to lay down our heavy burdens and find true rest in Him. As we gather on this Sunday, let's heed His call and surrender our worries and weariness at His feet.

In the hustle and bustle of life, it's easy to become weighed down by stress and anxieties. But Jesus offers us a different wayโ€”a yoke that is easy and a burden that is light. As we come before Him today, let's exchange our heavy loads for the peace and rest that only He can provide. Let's lean into His gentle and humble heart, learning from Him and finding refreshment for our souls. This Sunday, may we experience the restorative power of Christ's love and grace in our lives.

Good afternoon, Student LinCers! Let's begin this Sunday by immersing ourselves in the uplifting words of Colossians 3:16 (NIV): "Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts." What a beautiful reminder to let the transformative message of Christ permeate every aspect of our lives. As we gather, whether virtually or in person, let's create an atmosphere where the Word dwells richly among us, inspiring wisdom, teaching, and heartfelt expressions of gratitude through worship.

This Sunday, as we engage in fellowship and worship, let's purposefully cultivate an environment where the Word of God is not just heard but embraced and lived out. In our conversations, let's share the wisdom found in Scripture. In our songs, let's lift up melodies of gratitude to God. Together, let's create a space where the message of Christ is not confined to a moment but dwells richly, shaping our hearts and actions throughout the week.

As the Friday sun sets and we transition into the evening, let's find solace in the wisdom of Proverbs 3:24-26 (NIV): "When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the Lord will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared." What a comforting promise to carry into the night โ€“ the assurance that in the Lord's presence, our rest is sweet, and fear holds no dominion over our hearts.

As we prepare to close the chapters of this Friday, let's lean into God's promise of peaceful sleep. Lay down any anxieties or concerns at His feet, trusting that His presence shields us from fear. With the Lord at our side, we can surrender the night to Him, knowing that He watches over us. So, let this Friday evening be marked not only by relaxation but by a profound sense of security in the arms of our Heavenly Father.

Good morning, Friday-ready Student LinCers! As we stand on the threshold of this day, let's dive into the encouraging words of Psalm 143:8 (NIV): "Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life." What a fantastic way to kick off this Fridayโ€”welcoming the morning not just with caffeine but with the anticipation of encountering God's unwavering love. As we lean into His embrace, let's remember that in every decision and delight, our trust is securely placed in Him.

In the rhythm of this Friday, let's infuse our actions with the awareness of God's unfailing love. As we hustle through tasks and relish moments of joy, let's keep our hearts attuned to His guidance. The weekend is ahead, and with it comes an invitation to entrust our lives, plans, and adventures to the God who intricately knows the way we should go. So, let's stride confidently into this Friday, not just with our to-do lists but with the assurance that our lives are held in the hands of a loving and trustworthy Creator.

As we bid farewell to the closing pages of January, let's embrace the empowering words of Philippians 3:13-14: "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."

In these verses, the apostle Paul encourages us to adopt a forward-looking perspective. As January concludes, we may reflect on the highs and lows of the month, but let's not linger there. Instead, let's echo Paul's resolveโ€”forgetting what is behind and pressing on toward the greater purpose God has for us. January was just the beginning of a new chapter. Whatever challenges or victories we faced, let them propel us forward with a renewed determination to pursue the goals and calling God has placed in our hearts.

Good morning, Student LinCers! As we step into this glorious Sunday morning, let's bask in the radiant truth of Psalms 118:24: "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Sundays, a divine pause in our week, are a canvas painted by the Creator's hands, inviting us to celebrate His goodness and grace. This verse sets the perfect tone for our Sundayโ€”a day crafted for worship, rest, and joyful connection with our Heavenly Father.

Today isn't just a routine day; it's a Sunday, a day set apart for worship and reflection. So, as we navigate through this day of rest, let's do so with hearts full of gratitude and faces lit up with smiles. This Sunday is a unique opportunity to draw near to God, to find joy in His presence, and to rejoice in the community of believers. Let's make this day a celebration of the love and grace that the Lord abundantly pours upon us. May our Sunday be marked by a deep sense of joy, peace, and a profound awareness of God's unfailing love.

Let's pray: Heavenly Father, on this beautiful Sunday, we thank You for the gift of today. As we embark on this day of rest and worship, infuse our hearts with joy. Help us to celebrate Your goodness, find peace in Your presence, and connect with others in meaningful ways. May this Sunday be a reflection of Your love and a source of inspiration for the week ahead. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. ๐Ÿ™๐ŸŒž
