| Pursuant to Executive Order No. 02-003 S. 2026 (Prescribing the Suspension of Face-to-Face Classes in All Levels in Public and Private Schools in the City of Catbalogan on February 9, 2026 Due to Adverse Weather Conditions Brought About by the Shear Line) issued by the office of the City Mayor of Catbalogan today, 09 February 2026, face-to-face classes are suspended starting this afternoon and onwards in the Main and Mercedes Campuses.

📣 ANNOUNCEMENT | 3rd Annual Refresher Class 📣

Samar State University – Mercedes Campus will hold its 3rd Annual Refresher Class for BS Fisheries from February to May 2026.

This refresher class is open to BS Fisheries graduates and 4th-year BS Fisheries students who wish to enhance their knowledge and competencies in preparation for the Licensure Examination for Fisheries Professionals.

📜 A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to participants after the program, particularly to those who wish to secure a certificate for PRC requirements, provided that they attend and complete all the scheduled sessions.
