The Labor Day Job Fair 2026 officially commenced today at the Samar Convention Center, spearheaded by the Provincial Government of Samar through PESO Samar, in partnership with DOLE, DMW, and Samar State University.

More than just an event, the job fair continues to serve as a dynamic platform by connecting job seekers with both local and international employers while providing essential government services all in one place.

A standout highlight is the participation of SSU graduating students and alumni, many of whom were successfully Hired on the Spot. In fact, 66 Samareños secured employment an equivalent to 39.3% of all registered job seekers.

More than the numbers, it showcases passion, perseverance, and a true spirit of service.
