Fourth-year Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) and Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) students held their Classroom-Based Action Research (CBAR) presentation today as part of the second run of the activity in their program. The presentations highlighted intervention strategies aimed at strengthening learners’ literacy and numeracy skills, developed and implemented during their internship.

Student-teachers presented their studies, showcasing practical solutions to classroom challenges, particularly in improving students’ reading and mathematical competencies. Outstanding presenters and research works were recognized, with awards given to the Top 3 Best Presenters, Best Poster, and Best Intervention Program.

The activity was also supported by former students who sponsored the trophies and tokens for the judges, adding to the success of the event.

Adviser Dr. Melca D. Cabanggangan emphasized the importance of continuous reflection in teaching, saying teachers are perennial researchers who constantly seek ways to address classroom challenges and improve learner outcomes.

The candidates of Mr. & Ms. Enverga, alongside last year’s titleholders, faculty members, and members of the board of judges, formally concluded the Sashing Ceremony and Preliminary Competition, signaling the official start of this year’s pageant journey. The event showcased the contenders’ confidence and readiness as they take their first steps toward the crown.

The candidates of Mr. & Ms. Enverga 2026 will officially begin their journey to the crown in the Preliminary Competition and Sashing Ceremony today, February 21, at 4:00 PM in the MSEUF Conference Room.

The program will feature the Presentation of Candidates and Sashing Ceremony, School Uniform Competition, Advocacy Speech Competition, and a Closed-Door Interview as part of the preliminary evaluation.

College students are invited to witness the event and support their representatives as the search for this year’s titleholders formally commences.

As part of the Education Day celebration, the Education Department’s quiz bee was concluded this afternoon with Maybelene Galera emerging as the champion with 21 points, followed by Kate Angeline Belen in second place with 20 points, and Kyla Gonzales securing third place with 18 points.

Maybelene is a second-year Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) student, while Kate and Kyla are third-year BSED students. The competition featured the top five students from each class, totaling 25 qualified participants, with 21 present on the day of the event.

The contest for third place was intense as Kyla Gonzales and Rejene Regis tied, leading to a tiebreaker question which Kyla won.

The three winners will represent Enverga University - Catanauan in the upcoming PAFTE Quiz Bee, continuing the spirit of excellence celebrated during Education Day.

The Education Department of Enverga University-Catanauan formally opened the Day 1 of Education Day with the theme “From Lessons to Legacies: Celebrating the Past, Present, and Future of Teaching" highlighting the continuing role of educators in shaping meaningful and lasting impact in education.

The seminar featured Dr. Alyssa Anilao as the resource speaker, who delivered an inspirational talk that focused on making purposeful decisions, recognizing opportunities, and embracing growth and change in the teaching profession. Her message encouraged educators to reflect on their journeys and to view teaching as a path that continuously shapes both the teacher and the learner.

Messages were also delivered by Dr. Melca Cabangganan, Education Department Chairperson, and Dr. Gloria Quizana, Dean of the College of Education, who expressed their support for the activity and underscored the importance of commitment and dedication in the field of education.

The seminar was organized by the Education Department officers as part of the Education Day celebration, aiming to honor the teaching profession and inspire future educators to build meaningful legacies.

The Day 2 of the event is scheduled for tomorrow, continuing the celebration with more activities and programs for educators.

MSEUF Catanauan Inc. officially welcomed the holiday season through its dazzling “𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲” Ceremonial Lighting held on campus on the evening of November 14, 2025.

Students from Basic Education to College came together to witness the vibrant performances and the grand illumination of the campus’ festive decorations. The event ignited the Christmas spirit across all levels—uniting the entire MSEUF community in a night filled with warmth, color, and joy.
