[𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 | 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝘀𝗸𝗼'𝘁 𝗜𝘀𝗸𝗮]

The rains have not stopped, and the floods have taken so much from the farmers of the St. Anne Farmers Association in Brgy. Sta. Ana, San Mateo, Rizal. Waters from the Tumana River rose into their homes and swallowed their fields, and now these families are left to face the damage with heavy hearts.

There are 33 members in the association. Of them, 31 are crop farmers and 2 are livestock farmers, and every single one of them depends on the land to feed their families and make a living. In just a few days, the farmland that once gave them food and income disappeared beneath the flood, leaving behind only muddy pools, debris, and dirty water.

For these families, this is so much more than a natural disaster. It is the loss of their livelihood, their food, and so much of what they spent years building with their own hands. With their fields ruined and their homes gone, how are they to provide for even the simplest daily needs?

For in-kind donations, we ask that you share items that are clean, usable, in good condition, and packed with care. Sealed food, safe drinking water, and basic toiletries are especially needed right now. Monetary help are also deeply appreciated and may be sent through our official donation channels.

For drop-off locations and other ways to help, please send us a message.

Every donation, no matter how small, brings comfort and hope to a farming family trying to get through this difficult season. 🙏

[ADVOCACY PARTNERSHIP]
Today’s climate crisis is inherited by a generation that has done the least to worsen it but, being in the field of Engineering, this is all the more reason to continue the fight.

Engineers for Genuine Change In UP (ENGAGE UP) believes this as well. Being one of the main advocacy partners of the National Civil Engineering Summit 2026, they push for action in the science and technology sector, as well as the governing bodies to turn their attention to this worsening crisis.

The latest United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) report tells us that temporary solutions are no longer enough to suppress this problem. This is a wake-up call for our community to further push this issue to the headlines and champion actions to reclaim a livable earth.

The organization presents calls demanding accountability from corporations and officials responsible and collection action from the entire community to mitigate this crisis. As the National Civil Engineering Symposium 2026 comes only a few weeks away, may we continue to let our voices be heard and help this crisis reach the center stage.

Look at what came in from September 3 up to today! A huge thank you to our anonymous donors for so generously giving whatever they could. You're amazing. 🧡

Everything we've gathered is headed to families and residents in Pampanga and Rizal as they recover and rebuild. Through 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟭: 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲, we're getting relief ready and out the door, bringing survival, hygiene, and hot meal support to the communities that need it most.

We're doing this hand in hand with IGoCitizen and the Central Luzon Disaster Response Network in Pampanga, and with Kadamay - Rizal in Rizal.

𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄, 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴:

𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 - non-perishable and ready-to-eat items like canned goods, instant noodles, biscuits, and rice that families can count on right away
𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 - over-the-counter basics like fever and pain relievers, cough and cold remedies, and simple first-aid supplies
𝗡𝟵𝟱 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀 - to help keep residents and volunteers safe from poor air quality and airborne health risks
𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 - clean, sealed drinking water to keep everyone safe and hydrated
𝗧𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 - soap, toothpaste, sanitary pads, and other hygiene must-haves that help families stay healthy and feel cared for

[𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦 | 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝘀𝗸𝗼'𝘁 𝗜𝘀𝗸𝗮]

On August 24, 2026, ENGAGE UP returned to a longtime partner, the 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗰., to turn over another round of donations for its 𝗕𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗗 program. The program offers temporary shelter to displaced families and Persons in Street-Dwelling Situations (PSDS) across Quezon City. Supporting it reflects our advocacy of standing with the communities left most exposed when the response to the climate crisis falls short.

The need has rarely been greater. Weeks of relentless Habagat rains have swamped Quezon City, at one point driving more than 11,000 residents into over 50 evacuation shelters, with Barangay Bagong Silangan recording the highest number of evacuees (Brenz, 2026). Rescue teams had to pull residents from deep floodwaters in areas like Tatalon as the rains overwhelmed the city (Moaje, 2026).

For families with homes to return to, the flooding is devastating enough. But for Persons in Street-Dwelling Situations, who have no walls to shelter behind and no dry ground to retreat to, every storm is a fight for survival. It is these often unseen residents, pushed to the very margins of the city, who bear the sharpest edge of a climate crisis they did least to cause.

To everyone who gave to make this donation possible, 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁. Your generosity brings real relief to families and street dwellers who need it most. But the rains are not over, and neither is the need. If you'd like to help us continue reaching the most vulnerable, 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝘀 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 to donate or volunteer.

[𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗞 𝗨𝗣, 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮 | 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝘀𝗸𝗼'𝘁 𝗜𝘀𝗸𝗮]

The air we breathe has turned dangerous.

Transboundary haze from forest fires in Indonesia has pushed air quality across Metro Manila to "very unhealthy" and "acutely unhealthy" levels.

Not everyone can afford protection. For families already stretched thin, an N95 mask is a cost they cannot spare, yet they are often the ones most exposed: street vendors, drivers, outdoor workers, and those without the option to stay indoors.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽:
- Donate sealed, unused N95 or KN95 masks.
- Pitch in any amount so we can buy masks in bulk and distribute them where they're needed most.
- Share this post to reach more people who can support.
