Cavite State University (CvSU) – Carmona Campus successfully conducted the 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 on 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 via Google Meet.

The webinar featured key sessions delivered by Ms. Janine B. Bacosmo, including an echo presentation on CHED Memorandum Order No. 18, Series of 2025, which highlighted the revised guidelines and instruments for the Client Satisfaction Survey of extension projects in state universities and colleges, emphasizing compliance requirements and practical campus implementation. This was followed by a session on Quality Management System procedures and forms for extension services accessible through the ExPAnD platform, focusing on standardized processes, proper documentation protocols, and the importance of maintaining quality and consistency in extension-related transactions. Additional sessions addressed the individual monitoring of extension service hours, underscoring accurate tracking, reporting mechanisms, and accountability, as well as access to files and proper documentation of extension activities,.

𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗮 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀

CAFETalks successfully conducted its information drive at Cavite State University – Carmona Campus on April 22, 2026, at the Hostel Conference Room. Anchored on the theme “Brewing Innovative Business Opportunities and Getting into the TechComm Buzz,” the session introduced faculty members and students to technology commercialization pathways and innovation-driven opportunities within the university.

Dr. Jenny Beb F. Espineli, Campus Administrator, delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing the value of collaboration and active engagement in innovation initiatives to further strengthen the university’s research and entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The event featured insightful discussions led by key resource speakers:

🔹 Understanding the Technology Transfer Continuum: From Lab to Market – Dr. Laarni R. Manuel

🔹 Ways Forward: Strengthening Engagement in Innovation and Commercialization – Ms. Michelle M. Razo

Participants were also introduced to the Regional Agri-Aqua Innovation System Enhancement (RAISE) Program and the various opportunities offered through CvSU-ATBI. The session encouraged attendees to translate innovative ideas into impactful and sustainable ventures.

An open forum concluded the activity, providing participants the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers and gain deeper insights into technology commercialization. Closing remarks were delivered by Ms. Janine Bacosmo, Campus Extension Coordinator, who expressed her appreciation for the enthusiastic participation and continued support of the academic community.

Cavite State University (CvSU) – Carmona Campus, through the Extension Services Office and the Department of Hospitality Management in partnership with the City Government of Carmona and the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO)–Carmona, successfully conducted the 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀: 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 on 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at PDAO–Carmona.

The training featured key sessions facilitated by Mr. Klenton R. Torrevillas and Dr. Joan L. Fortuna, covering essential topics on personal hygiene practices, proper handwashing procedures, and cleaning and sanitizing protocols, emphasizing the importance of minimizing contamination risks in food handling. This was followed by discussions on the prevention of cross-contamination, time and temperature control, and proper food handling practices, reinforcing critical measures to ensure food safety from preparation to service. Additional sessions addressed waste disposal management and pest control programs, as well as emergency awareness and safety in the production area, including basic principles of warehousing and logistics, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of safe and efficient food operations.

In the afternoon session, Mr. Beinard Ariel Reginaldo facilitated the continuation of practical applications, including supervised assembly exercises and a focused discussion on preventive maintenance techniques, reinforcing best practices for ensuring system efficiency and longevity.

The training featured a key session delivered by Ms. Ronalyn M. Manongsong, invited resource speaker, who provided an in-depth discussion on guided mobility techniques and best practices in assisting learners who are blind or visually impaired, emphasizing proper positioning, communication cues, and environmental awareness in safe guiding. The session incorporated demonstrations and practical applications, enabling participants to develop both foundational knowledge and hands-on skills in assisting learners across various settings such as classrooms, hallways, and outdoor spaces.

CvSU–Carmona Campus, came together for the community outreach initiative “One Campus, One Cause, One SPARK: Sharing Positivity and Radiating Kindness,” where students, faculty members, and staff united to serve the beneficiaries of the campus extension programs. The activity featured a heartfelt gift-giving program, festive performances, interactive games, and raffles that brought joy and excitement to all participants. A special Christmas party was also organized for children, ensuring that every young guest went home with smiles and gifts.
