The orientation featured Dr. Purity V. Mata, Graduate School Research and Development Coordinator, as the lead speaker, who provided valuable guidance and insights on graduate studies, research, and publication to help students prepare for their academic and professional journey.

Gorro, for proper guidance and advice regarding legitimate journal publications. This is to ensure that your manuscripts will not be flagged as predatory.

Please be informed that publication in indexed and peer-reviewed journals does not follow a one-week process. Be vigilant and seek assistance before making any payments or submissions.

Kindly note that publication in a predatory journal may result in disqualification from graduation requirements.

Please be guided on the updated Study Load and Admission & Retention Policies:

📚 Study Load
✔️ Maximum of 9 units during the regular semester
✔️ Up to 12 units allowed only for graduating or full-time students (not employed while studying)
✔️ Maximum of 12 units during the summer term

📝 Admission & Retention Policies
✔️ All new enrollees must take the Graduate School Admission Test (GSAT) at the Guidance Office
✔️ Results are Passed or Failed
✔️ Passers may proceed with enrollment
✔️ Those with below-average results may still enroll under probationary status (1 semester)
✔️ Must obtain a GPA of 1.7 or better to enroll in the succeeding semester
