In celebration of the 38th Founding Anniversary of Carmen National High SchoolโDay Class, students marked the occasion through a meaningful outreach activity at the Home for the Aged. Rather than celebrating solely within the school campus, the Foundation Day became an opportunity to share compassion, build connections, and honor the lives of the elderly through service.
As students prepared lugaw for the residents, they were met with joyful smiles and grateful hearts. This simple act of kindness created an atmosphere of comfort and joy as meaningful conversations and heartfelt connections starts to build.The elderly shared storiesโeach reflected resilience, hope, and a lifetime of experiences that inspired those who listened.
Their stories served as reminders to cherish loved ones, remain grateful through life's challenges, and appreciate every moment. As heartfelt conversations fostered meaningful bonds, shared laughter deepened the sense of empathy, understanding, and connection.
Beyond being an outreach program, the visit became a memorable experience where kindness was shared, stories were heard, and lasting connections were formed.
