HAPPY WORLD HIJAB DAY 2026

Kibayao Elementary School joins the world in celebrating World Hijab Day every 1st of February.

"The hijab is not just a symbol of being a Muslim. It is worn to conceal one's 'awrah'. It is also a means of identifying oneself as a Muslim. Wearing the hijab is considered an obligation for a Muslim, making one more beautiful and commanding respect as a 'muslima'. Most importantly, it was ordained by our Creator.
