February is National Arts Month!
In accordance to Presidential Proclamation No. 683 signed in 1991, the National Arts Month (NAM) celebration, spearhead by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) through its Sub-commission on the Arts, highlights the importance of acknowledging exceptional artistic contribution and promoting artistic movement and expressions as embodied in the field of visual arts, architecture and the allied arts, music, dance, cinema, dramatic arts, and literary arts.
The Office of the Socio-Cultural Affairs of Capiz State University-Mambusao Satellite College is acknowledging the call of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) to celebrate the NATIONAL ARTS MONTH in our campus with the theme: “SINING NG PAG-ASA”. (SAYAWITAN 2022: VIRTUAL CULTURAL PRESENTATION). This is another way of providing quality service in terms of honing the talents and skills of students and broadening their cultural outlook. Hence, students should be engaged in humanities and cultural activities.
