Some memories are too precious to just let go. So here's a little video for someone who became a big part of our department.

Thank you, Ma’am Cathy, for every advice, every lesson, and every moment you shared with us. "Hindi man namin maririnig ulit ang tinig mo" but always remember "Mga payo mo'y lagi naming isasapuso".

You may be leaving the department, but the memories and lessons you left with us will always stay.

This isn’t a goodbye, Ma’am. It’s simply our way of saying salamat sa iyo. Until then. 🫶🏻

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | September 10, 2026, was filled with laughter, surprises, and mixed emotions at the Social Work Department as students came together for a farewell party to celebrate and honor Professor Cathy Joy C. Bargo.

As our Department Chairperson, Ma’am Cathy became more than just a leader—she became a mother figure to her students and a good colleague and reliable friend to her fellow faculty members. Her guidance, care, and presence have truly made a difference in our Social Work family.

The intermission numbers prepared by students from 1st year to 4th year made the farewell party even more memorable. Every performance and gesture was our simple way of saying thank you and showing how much we appreciate her.

We may feel a little sad to see you take on a new opportunity, but we are also happy and proud of you as you begin this next chapter.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | A new chapter of service and commitment unfolds as the Capiz State University Pilar Satellite College Junior Social Worker's Association comes together for its Oath-Taking Ceremony on September 9, 2026.

The ceremony symbolizes more than just taking an oath—it represents our shared commitment to the values of social work, compassion, advocacy, responsibility, and service to others. As future social workers, we are reminded that every act of kindness, every voice we raise, and every person we help can create a meaningful difference in the community.

May this oath strengthen our dedication to serve with empathy, stand for those in need, and uphold the values that inspire us to become better advocates and future social workers.

As we begin this journey together, may we continue to learn, grow, and serve with purpose.
