ISPSC meets international partners

The Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) through Dr. Annabelle B. Francisco (Vice President for Research, Extension, and Internationalization) and Dr. Ranec A. Azarias (Director for Internationalization) met with the international partners of the college via Zoom and Google Meet on February 19, 2025.

Dr. Sri Lestari(Universitas PGRI Madiun, Indonesia), Dr. Sukkrit Nimitkul (Kasetsart University, Thailand), Dr. Do Hai Yen (Tan Trao University, Vietnam), and Dr. Jafar Ali Ibrahim S (QiST Educational Institution India) attended the consecutive meetings as the Internationalization Representatives or Officers of their respective institutions.

In the said meetings, the hybridization and recalibration of student and faculty exchange programs including cultural exchange programs and research collaborations were discussed.

All the partner universities expressed their positive commitment to ISPSC’s move towards enhancing its internationalization initiatives and programs. #

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Associate Professor Marife D. Alviento, former Research Director of the College. A devoted educator and visionary leader, she made a lasting impact on the lives of many through her unwavering commitment to research and her guidance in shaping the future of countless students and colleagues.

Her legacy will endure through the many initiatives she championed, the knowledge she shared, and the integrity she brought to all her endeavors.

Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of working alongside her.

Rest in peace, our beloved Ma’am Marife Alviento. Your contributions will never be forgotten.
