Hernandez National High School successfully conducted the First Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill on March 12, 2026.
Learners and personnel practiced the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure to strengthen preparedness and ensure safety in the event of an earthquake. Activities like this help build awareness, discipline, and readiness during emergencies.

Hernandez National High School will conduct the 1st Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on March 12, 2026 (Thursday) at 3:30 PM, in compliance with Regional Memorandum No. 00317, s. 2026 issued by DepEd Region V – Bicol and Memorandum No. 9, s. 2026 by the RDRRMC.
All learners, and teaching personnel are enjoined to take part in this important quarterly activity to strengthen our disaster preparedness and promote a culture of safety in our school community.

Hernandez National High School joins the nation in observing the Fire Prevention Month this March 2026, promoting awareness, vigilance, and preparedness in preventing fire incidents.
With the theme:
“Sa pag-iwas sa sunog, hindi ka nag-iisa.”
We encourage all learners, parents, and personnel to practice fire safety measures at home and in school. Let us work together to ensure a safe and disaster-resilient community.
Remember: Prevention starts with us.

Face-to-face classes at Hernandez National High School will resume tomorrow, February 10. All learners and teachers are advised to return to their regular schedules.

In line with the memorandum from the Local Government Unit of Caramoan regarding the suspension of face-to-face classes due to continuous rainfall and possible flooding, please be informed that:
✅ There will be NO face-to-face classes tomorrow, February 9, 2026, until lifted.
✅ Online learning modality will be implemented instead.
All teachers are advised to coordinate with the parents and learners for online activities, tasks, and schedules.
Your safety is our priority. Please stay at home and monitor official announcements for further updates.
