The Federation of Supreme Student Councils (FSSC) has officially concluded the case involving Student Regent Hon. Caren Mae Latonero following the completion of the appropriate procedures and consultations prescribed under existing policies and regulations.

The first impeachment hearing was conducted on May 23, 2026, where the parties involved were given the opportunity to present their respective positions and participate in the proceedings.

In an official statement released by the Federation, the FSSC said the matter had been addressed and resolved through the appropriate mechanisms provided under existing policies and procedures. The statement noted that consultations were conducted with the concerned offices and that the parties involved participated in the process leading to the resolution of the case.

With the completion of these proceedings, the FSSC Judiciary Committee has considered the case closed. The Federation, however, did not disclose further details regarding the resolution, citing considerations of fairness, respect, and confidentiality.

โ€ŽThe Environmental Science and Agroforestry (ESAF) Program of Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA)-Sipocot honored its graduating Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (BSES) and Bachelor of Science in Agroforestry (BSAF) students during the Tribute to Seniors 2026 held on June 2, 2026, at the campus' cultural hall.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽCarrying the theme โ€œAni at Alay: Harvesting Dreams, Honoring Heritage,โ€ the event celebrated the achievements, perseverance, and contributions of the graduating class as they prepared to embark on a new chapter of their lives.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽThe program formally opened with the processional of faculty members and graduating students, joined by student leaders, organization representatives, and members of campus publications.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽIn her opening remarks, ESAF Program Chairperson Prof. Sheril A. Aliben expressed pride in the graduates for overcoming academic and personal challenges throughout their college journey. She emphasized that while academic excellence is important, humility, good values, and a positive attitude remain essential as they transition into their professional careers.

Enesio reflected on the deeper purpose of Agroforestry, describing it as a discipline rooted in service, sustainability, and community development. He thanked faculty members for their guidance and challenged his fellow graduates to continue cultivating the values and knowledge they acquired throughout their academic journey. He concluded his address with the words, โ€œHumayo at umaniโ€ (Go forth and harvest).
โ€Ž
โ€ŽOne of the highlights of the program was the presentation of a tribute video showcasing the graduatesโ€™ memorable experiences, achievements, and friendships during their years in the university. The ceremony also featured the recognition of outstanding BSES and BSAF students, along with the presentation of special commendation awards.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽMeanwhile, Caren Mae M. Latonero, former SCEAP Governor, and the current Federation Supreme Student Council (FSSC) President, described the graduatesโ€™ college experience as a โ€œbeautiful messโ€ filled with valuable lessons, challenges, and victories. She encouraged the graduates to embrace failures as opportunities for growth, cherish meaningful relationships, and continue seeking guidance as they pursue their aspirations.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽThe event concluded with the awarding of certificates to the graduating students and a Certificate of Appreciation to the guest speaker.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽIn her closing remarks, Christine C. Malacad congratulated the graduates and expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the celebration.
