PAGBUBUKAS NG PAGDIRIWANG NG BUWAN NG WIKA 2026

Matagumpay na isinagawa ngayong araw ang pagbubukas ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026 sa Pugod Elementary School na may temang "Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon." Ang temang ito ay nagbibigay-diin sa mahalagang papel ng wikang Filipino sa makabagong panahon, lalo na sa paggamit ng artificial intelligence bilang katuwang sa pananaliksik at pagpapalawak ng kaalaman.

Ang nasabing programa ay matagumpay na pinangunahan ng mga G**o sa Baitang 2, sa pangunguna ng butihing Punong G**o na si Gng. Maria Lorena F. Abengoza. Naging panauhing tagapagsalita si Gng. Anastacia C. Caña, na nagbahagi ng makabuluhang mensahe tungkol sa kahalagahan ng pagpapaunlad, pagpapahalaga, at patuloy na paggamit ng wikang Filipino bilang bahagi ng ating pagkakakilanlan at kultura.

Nawa'y magsilbing inspirasyon ang pagdiriwang na ito upang higit pang mahalin, gamitin, at ipagmalaki ang ating sariling wika sa bawat pagkakataon.

A Legacy That Time Can Never Retire. ❤️

Pugod Elementary School and Inandawa Elementary School came together with grateful hearts to celebrate a beautiful surprise retirement tribute for Sir Gilberto C. An, lovingly known to all as Sir An.

For more than 37 years of faithful and selfless service in the Department of Education, Sir An has been more than an educator—he has been a mentor, a leader, a father figure, and an inspiration to generations of learners, teachers, and school leaders. His dedication extended far beyond the four corners of the classroom. He devoted his life to shaping minds, nurturing dreams, and uplifting communities through the power of education.

Throughout his journey, Sir An led with humility, served with integrity, and inspired with compassion. His wisdom, unwavering commitment, and genuine concern for others have left footprints that time can never erase. The countless lives he touched stand as living proof that the true measure of a teacher is not found in years of service alone, but in the hearts forever changed.

Today, PUGOD ES joined the nation in celebrating the 2026 National Women’s Month with the powerful theme: "WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society" and the sub-theme: "Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!"

We were honored to have Ms. Grace L. Deginio as our guest speaker, who shared an insightful discussion on Children’s Rights and Responsibilities—reminding our learners that with great rights come great heart and responsibility.

The day was filled with learning and excitement, featuring a short program and a spirited Quiz Bee! 🏆

A huge thank you to our dedicated teachers, enthusiastic learners, supportive parents, and the whole community. This successful event was spearheaded by our School Principal I, Ma’am Maria Lorena F. Abengoza, and organized by our GAD Coordinator and Program Chairperson, Ma’am Melane B. Lorica.
