DEPED PALARO SEASON 2026 TRYOUTS

Calling all dedicated and talented basketball players!

Triviño Basketball Club is conducting its official Basketball Tryouts in preparation for the DepEd Palaro Season 2026. This is your opportunity to earn a spot on the team and represent Juan F. Triviño Memorial High School with pride, discipline, and excellence as we aim to defend our district championship and once again represent the Municipality of Pasacao.

🏀 Day 1 – Initial Tryouts

📅 Date: August 7, 2026 (Friday)
🕟 Time: 4:30 PM onwards

🏀 Day 2 – Finalization of Team Lineup

📅 Date: August 8, 2026 (Saturday)
🕢 Time: 7:30 AM onwards

📍 Venue: Juan F. Triviño Memorial High School Covered Court

✅ ELIGIBILITY

This tryout is open to all officially enrolled Grade 7 to Grade 12 students of Juan F. Triviño Memorial High School who meet the following requirements:

Born 2009 or later (eligible for the DepEd Palaro Season 2026 age category)
1. Currently enrolled in Grades 7–12
2. In good academic standing
3. Of good moral character
4. Physically fit and willing to participate in regular training and competitions
5. Committed to teamwork, discipline, and representing the school with honor

WHAT TO BRING
1. Basketball attire
2. Basketball shoes
3. Water bottle
4. Extra shirt and towel (optional)
5. Commitment, discipline, and a competitive mindset

Congratulations to Ma’am Marilou C. Cañizo and Sir Antonio Caesar A. Valencia on their approved designations as Assistant School Principals for Junior High School and Senior High School, respectively.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | Juan F. Triviño Memorial High School successfully conducted the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026.

Students, teachers, and staff participated in the activity and practiced proper earthquake safety procedures to strengthen preparedness and promote a culture of safety within the school community.

The drill was facilitated by 𝙈𝙧𝙨. 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚 𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙧𝙖, DRRM Teacher, with the assistance of the 𝘽𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 (𝘽𝙀𝘼𝙍) 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙢.
