With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, the entire DES community mourns the passing of our dearly loved Principal, Mr. Erdie E. Lorenzana. This heartbreaking loss has left an immeasurable void in our hearts and in the halls of our school that his presence once filled with wisdom, warmth, and hope.
He was not only an exceptional leader, but also a compassionate mentor, a guiding light, and a second parent to many. His kindness, patience, and unwavering dedication shaped countless lives and inspired us to become better individuals every single day.
In this moment of grief, we find comfort in the beautiful legacy he left behind, a legacy built on service, integrity, love for education, and genuine care for every learner and teacher. Though his voice may no longer echo through our classrooms, his lessons, values, and memories will continue to live within us forever.
To the bereaved family, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt sympathies. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May the love and support of the community bring strength and comfort in the days ahead.
Rest peacefully, Sir Erdie. Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, and your legacy eternal. You will forever remain in our hearts and will never be forgotten.
