Congratulations to Dr. Wilma G. Nonato for being awarded as the Best Paper Presenter having presented the research study entitled “Closed or Open? Lived Experiences of the Restaurateurs During the COVID-19 Pandemic” and to Mr. Airwin S. Ditianquin for being the Research Session Chairperson - Student-paper Category during the 5th Northern Philippines Business Research Conference (NPBRC)
held from February 29 to March 1, 2024, at Angeles University Foundation, Angeles City.

RCC Graduate School is now accepting enrollees for the 2nd Trimester of School Year 2023-2024. Enrollment is until December 7, 2023. Meanwhile, classes will start on December 9, 2023.
Graduates of RCC may avail of the 25% Alumni discount.

This activity will include the election of the Graduate School Student Council for the academic year 2023-2024 as well as the orientation for the student services.

FACULTY IN FOCUS: Dr. Gloria B. Abrazado, RCC Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Graduate School, and Mrs. Ralyn B. Rodriguez, Graduate School faculty, participated in the Quality Assurance in Tertiary Education/Professional Education Symposium on July 29, 2023, via Zoom organized by the Quality Assurance Network of All India Association for Educational Researcher (QA-AIAER).
Dr. Abrazado, main author, and Mrs. Rodriguez, co-author, presented their study entitled Perceived Teaching and Program Quality vis-a-vis the Achievement of Discipline Knowledge, Generic Graduate Outcomes and Core Values during the symposium.
The Quality Assurance Network of AIAER (QA-AIAER) is a network under the umbrella of AIAER which aims to ensure quality in real educational settings, from preschool to university, from general education to specialized professional education.

FACULTY IN FOCUS: Dr. Jumar G. Basco, Dean of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education and a Graduate School faculty member, recently accredited colleges and universities from January to March 2023.
Dr. Basco virtually accredited La Consolacion University Philippines, Malolos, Bulacan from January 25-27; WCC Aeronautical and Technological College – North Manila, Inc. from February 6-8; and Perpetual Help College Manila from March 20-22.
Dr. Basco is an accreditor of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities - Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) and the Director of the RCC Community Extension Service Office (CESO).

FACULTY IN FOCUS: Dr. Neil H. Datu, Dean of the College of Computer Studies and a faculty member of the RCC Graduate School, served as one of the Assessors of the Regional Quality Assessment Teams (RQATs) of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
During RQATs, Dr. Datu evaluated programs offered by two higher education institutions in the region: Dr. Gloria D. Lacson Foundation Colleges, Inc. on November 22, 2022 and Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology on April 28, 2023.
Dr. Datu is the past President of the Association of Computing Education Deans and Program Heads (ACED.PH), Inc., formerly Council of Deans in Information Technology Education (CDITE) Region 3 during Academic Year 2021-2022.
