We proudly celebrate the achievements of our CKC Mathletes who represented the school in the 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 (𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐏) National Math Quest 2026 on February 13-15, 2026

Competing at the national level, our Christi Regians showed excellence, determination, and strong preparation. Special thanks to our participants and dedicated coaches whose hard work and commitment made these accomplishments possible. These achievements highlight CKC’s dedication to excellence.

Among the participants, Grade 7 student Sean Santiago M. Barandino placed 3rd in 𝘙𝘶𝘣𝘪𝘹 𝘊𝘶𝘣𝘦.
In Grade 8, Adrianna Rhym R. Ortiz placed 3rd in 𝘚𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘬𝘰, Nathan M. Saldaña placed 4th in 𝘙𝘶𝘣𝘪𝘹 𝘊𝘶𝘣𝘦, Solara M. Ariega placed 5th in the 𝘔𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘘𝘶𝘪𝘻 𝘉𝘦𝘦, and Princess Jane P. Daguman ranked in the 10th placed in 𝘛𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘏𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘪. Grade 9 students Angelica Rose R. Ortiz placed in 10th placed in 𝘔𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘘𝘶𝘪𝘻 𝘉𝘦𝘦 while Mateo Faust D. Buendia ranked 6th placed in the 𝘔𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘏𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘘𝘶𝘪𝘻 𝘉𝘦𝘦 and 3rd placed in Essay Writing category.

Other students who also represented CKC in the competitions include Thistle Dollado (Grade 7) and Zoe Marie S. Lopez (Grade 10).

The participants from Christ the King College of Calbayog City, Inc.—Sean Santiago M. Barandino, Thistle Dollado, Nathan M. Saldaña, Mateo Faust D. Buendia, and Zoe Marie S. Lopez—along with their coaches Ms. Dolores Suzette L. Astorga and Ms. Reyzell C. Pepito, have arrived in Baguio City for the National Math Quest Competition.

The competition will be held at Baguio City National High School and Skyrise Hotel on February 14 -15, 2026.

Our Mathletes brought home 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀 in the Rubik’s Cube, Sudoku, Tower of Hanoi, and Math Quiz Bee categories — showcasing exceptional talent, teamwork, and CKC pride.
