ICRMG formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Carl Balita Review Center (CBRC), today, March 11, 2026, at the NwSSU Office of the President Board Room. The signing ceremony marked the start of the collaboration with CBRC as a partner institution for the upcoming 3rd International Conference on Resource Management and Governance.

The 3rd International Conference on Resource Management and Governance is endorsed by the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) through PASUC Advisory No. 18, s. 2026.

The 3rd ICRMG will be held from 21-23 April 2026 at Calbayog City, Samar, Philippines.

𝐍𝐰𝐒𝐒𝐔, 𝐓𝐫𝐚 𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐡 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐈𝐂𝐑𝐌𝐆

Northwest Samar State University (NwSSU) and Trường Đại Học Trà Vinh (Tra Vinh University - TVU) conducted an online coordination meeting for the 3rd International Conference on Resource Management and Governance (ICRMG) today, January 16, via Google Meet.

The TVU delegation was led by their Vice Director of International Education Institute Dr. Huy Thông Nguyễn, while the NwSSU team was headed by Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension Dr. Riz Rupert Ortiz.

During the meeting, Conference Chairperson and Research Director Dr. Joseph Emil David presented updates on the conference preparations, including the proposed venue, the roles and responsibilities of the co-host university, and committee composition.

Participants discussed concerns, raised clarifications, and reached mutual agreements to ensure the smooth conduct of the conference. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment from both institutions to strengthen collaboration.

The 3rd ICRMG is set to take place on April 14-15, 2026 in Calbayog City, Samar, Philippines, with the theme: “From Research to Impact: Reimagining Resource Management and Governance towards Global Sustainability.”

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | The 2nd International Conference on Resource Management and Governance was held at the Asawin Grand Convention Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, as a Special Session for RMUTCON2025, from July 22-24, 2025. This year's conference was co-hosted with the Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon.
