The Bachelor of Science in Psychology program Christ the King College of Calbayog City, Inc. proudly participated in the 39th Psychological Association of the Philippines Junior Affiliates (PAPJA) Annual Convention held on April 27β28, 2026 at the SMX Convention Center.
With the theme, βFuturescaping Psychology: Our Role in Attaining the Sustainable Development Goals,β the convention gathered psychology educators, professionals, and students from across the country to engage in meaningful discussions, learning sessions, and academic collaboration.
Representing CKC were Ms. Denise Marie Jao, Program Head of the BS Psychology Program, together with BS Psychology students, showcasing the institutionβs commitment to academic excellence and professional growth in the field of psychology.
The event, organized by the Psychological Association of the Philippines, Inc., served as a valuable platform for participants to deepen their knowledge, expand their perspectives, and strengthen their role in promoting sustainable development through psychology.

All Undergraduate and College of Law graduating students are advised to attend the scheduled graduation rehearsals starting May 4, 2026, until May 8, 2026, the final rehearsal for the 77th Commencement Ceremonies.
The Graduation Rehearsals Committee reminds all candidates for graduation that attendance is a must and will be monitored through the graduating class officers.
Graduating students are also encouraged to bring water and handheld fans due to the expected intense heat during the rehearsal period.

The 4th Year Social Work Interns of the Bachelor of Science in Social Work program of CKC-INAHSBS successfully held their Exit Conference today, April 27, 2026, at the CKC Audio Visual Room.
The event marked the culmination of the studentsβ internship journey and served as a formal closing activity, recognizing their fieldwork experiences and accomplishments.
Present during the event were visitors and representatives from the Calbayog City Social Welfare and Development Office: Armanoel C. Escobar, RSW; Flordeliza B. Beltran, RSW; Glendo T. Bonayog, RSW; Bernadita D. Barcheta; and Evangeline T. Cabella, RSW.
Highlights of the program included the distribution of evaluation forms, the awarding of Certificates of Completion to the BSSW interns, and the presentation of a Certificate of Appreciation to the partner agency for its invaluable support and collaboration.
The Exit Conference reflected the institutionβs commitment to strengthening professional practice, community partnership, and experiential learning in social work education.

College students from Institute of Nursing, Allied Health, Social and Behavioral Sciences successfully conducted their PATHFIT 2 and PATHFIT 4 Culminating Activity today, April 27, 2026, at the CKC Grounds, highlighting physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among college students.
The event served as a culmination of the studentsβ learning experiences in Physical Activities Toward Health and Fitness (PATHFIT), where they demonstrated various fitness routines, recreational activities, and collaborative performances that reflected their commitment to health and wellness.
The activity was held under the mentorship of Mr. Rich Nico C. Cajuban and Ms. Maria NiΓ±a J. Malobago, whose guidance and support contributed to the success of the program.
The culminating activity emphasized the importance of holistic student development, promoting not only physical well-being but also camaraderie, cooperation, and active student engagement within the academic community.

Christ the King College of Calbayog City, Inc. extends its heartfelt support to its employees through the distribution of cash and rice assistance held today, April 25, 2026, at the CKC AVR.
This initiative stemmed from the Board of Trustees meeting on April 13, 2026, where one of the major concerns discussed was finding ways to help mitigate the challenges faced by CKC employees amid the worsening economic crisis.
Led by Rev. Fr. Prisco A. Cajes, OFM, ThD, College President, together with the CKC administrators, the distribution of cash and rice assistance served as a concrete response to the needs of the employees during these challenging times.
Recognizing the rising cost of living and the daily struggles of every household, the Board of Trustees took proactive steps to provide immediate assistance as a gesture of compassion, solidarity, and institutional care for the CKC workforce.
The distribution reflects CKCβs unwavering commitment to the welfare of its employees, acknowledging their dedication, hard work, and invaluable service to the institution.
Indeed, in times of uncertainty, CKC remains true to its mission of being not only an academic institution but also a caring community that stands with its people.

The Business Administration (BSBA) and Computer Science (BSCS) programs of Christ the King College of Calbayog City, Inc. - Institute of Accountancy, Management, Computing and Information Studies (IAMCIS) successfully held their Honoring Night 2026 dubbed βNEXUS Night,β yesterday, April 24, 2026, at the Assumption Province Gymnatorium.
Led by IAMCIS Dean Dr. Jose C. Mateo, CPA, together with BSBA Program Head Ms. Pi Zeta A. Fabillar, and BSCS Program Head Engr. Vicente G. Andrade Jr., the event gathered all students, faculty, and staff of both programs for an evening filled with celebration, recognition, and gratitude.
The program featured fun games that brought excitement and camaraderie among participants, followed by the awarding of top-performing students who were recognized for their outstanding academic excellence and dedication.
A heartfelt send-off was also given to the Batch 2026 graduating students as they prepare to embark on their next journey beyond college life. Adding glamour to the night were the selection of Stars of the Night and the giving of special awards to IAMCIS faculty members in appreciation of their commitment and service.

The Business Administration Program of Christ the King College of Calbayog City, Inc. β Institute of Accounting, Management, Computing, and Information Studies (CKC-IAMCIS) officially opened BSBA Days 2026 today, April 23, 2026, with a series of meaningful and engaging activities for students and faculty.
The celebration began with a Thanksgiving Mass at the CKC San Damiano Chapel, presided over by Rev. Fr. Raymond C. Osok, OFM, Vice President for Administration and HRMDO Director, who delivered an inspiring message on gratitude, purpose, and the importance of unity in academic and professional growth.
Following the Mass, an opening program was held in the morning at the CKC Audio Visual Room, where students participated in a seminar-workshop designed to enhance their knowledge, leadership, and professional readiness in the field of business administration.
In the afternoon, the energy continued with exciting games and E-sports activities, allowing students to build camaraderie, teamwork, and school spirit while enjoying friendly competition.
BSBA Days 2026 serves as a celebration of student excellence, collaboration, and holistic development, reflecting the programβs commitment to preparing future business leaders equipped with competence, character, and creativity.

College students of Christ the King College of Calbayog City, Inc. actively participated in a Pickleball Tournament as part of the culminating activity for PATHFIT 4 under the guidance of their instructor, Mr. Gilberto C. Cagomoc III.
Anchored on the theme, βHarmony in Motion: Uniting Through Sports,β the event highlighted the importance of teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and physical wellness among students through friendly yet competitive matches.
The tournament served as an avenue for students to showcase not only their athletic skills and strategic thinking but also their camaraderie and unity as they engaged in one of the fastest-growing sports today.
Through this activity, students experienced the value of collaboration and mutual respect while promoting an active and healthy lifestyle beyond the classroom setting.
