We are immensely proud to announce that John Arrel Sagayap earned First Place in the Science Quiz Bee at the 22nd National Science Quest held on February 15, 2026 in Baguio City.

The National Science Quest, organized by the Association of Science Educators in the Philippines (ASEP), is a distinguished annual academic competition that advances excellence in Science and Mathematics while cultivating intellectual rigor, camaraderie, and sportsmanship among students and educators across the nation.
John Arrel’s achievement is a testament to his analytical acumen, disciplined preparation, and deep commitment to scientific inquiry. His performance exemplifies the highest standards of academic excellence and brings great honor to our San Joaquin NHS.

We likewise recognize the invaluable mentorship of his coach, Sir Rey Casurao, whose expertise, dedication, and steadfast guidance were instrumental in this success. Our heartfelt gratitude also goes to our School Head, Rinalyn C. Beso, Teachers and Parents for their unwavering support and partnership in nurturing scholarly growth.

The SSLG Election Day was successfully held, filling the campus with excitement as San Joaquiñians actively participated in the democratic process. From early voters to last-minute ballots, learners showed enthusiasm and responsibility in making their voices heard.

The day was marked by long lines, positive energy, and a strong sense of unity, proving that student leadership is alive and thriving. With active participation and an orderly flow of voting, the election was a true success and a celebration of student voice and involvement.
