In a move to strengthen student welfare and promote inclusive education, the Office of the Student Regent led the official presentation of the University Dormitory Manual to various student-led organizations. The event served as a platform to engage student leaders in shaping the policies and guidelines that will govern the dormitory system, ensuring it aligns with the needs and realities of the student body.
Student Regent Revy Magallano highlighted the significance of providing accessible dormitory facilities, especially for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and those residing in far-flung areas. This initiative directly supports the goals of Project BUILD, particularly Objective 1: Bridge the Gap, which aims to reduce educational barriers by offering safe, affordable, and supportive living environments within the university.
The collaborative presentation marked a key step toward inclusive policy-making and the empowerment of student voices in university governance.
