CKC’s 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 marked the second day of 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 with a strong spirit of compassion and service. Students, faculty, and partners united with one purpose—to 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

Each donor showed courage and willingness to help others, proving that even a simple act can make a lasting impact on lives and communities.

The CKC Collegiate Supreme Student Council (CSSC), in collaboration with the Institute of Nursing, Calbayog District Hospital Blood Bank Unit, and West Samar Doctors Hospital, Inc., warmly invites everyone to take part in the 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟴:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝘁𝗼 𝟱:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗞𝗖 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺.

𝑬𝑳𝑰𝑮𝑰𝑩𝑰𝑳𝑰𝑻𝒀 𝑹𝑬𝑸𝑼𝑰𝑹𝑬𝑴𝑬𝑵𝑻𝑺:
• Must be in good health
• Weight of at least 50 kg
• Between 18 to 60 years old
• Have 6 to 8 hours of sleep prior to the donation
• Blood pressure between 90 over 60 to 140 over 100
• Must pass the physical and health history requirement

This month, we celebrate women’s empowerment by ensuring that safety and independence extend to every road they travel. Driving and road safety are not just skills, they are rights that protect lives, uphold dignity, and foster confidence.

The Office of Student Affairs and Services (SAS), in collaboration with the Gender and Development (GAD) Office, will conduct the Theoretical Driving Orientation and Road Safety Seminar for women students on March 26–27, 2026, 8:00 AM at the CKC Audio‑Visual Room. Women students are officially excused from classes to join this activity.
Let us show unity and empowerment by wearing purple during the seminar.
Together, we drive change. Together, we uphold safety. Together, we celebrate women’s strength.

This week, we join the nation in remembering that hazing has no place in our schools, organizations, or communities. What some call “tradition” is, in truth, an act of abuse that destroys trust, violates dignity, and endangers lives.

National Hazing Prevention Week is more than an observance—it is a call to action. It reminds us that real unity is built on respect, compassion, and accountability. Every student deserves to belong without fear, humiliation, or harm.

As one community, let us choose respect over violence, care over cruelty, and solidarity over silence. Together, we protect lives. Together, we uphold dignity. Together, we say NO to hazing and YES to a culture of trust and respect.

The Collegiate Supreme Student Council of Christ the King College, in coordination with the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), joins the nation in the observance of National Hazing Prevention Week.

Christ the King College of Calbayog City, Inc. upholds the provisions of the Anti-Hazing Act of 2018 (Republic Act No. 11053) and remains firm in its stand against hazing in all its forms. The institution continues to implement proactive measures to protect the safety, dignity, and rights of all Christi Regians, while promoting a campus environment rooted in respect, responsibility, and genuine care for one another.

Hazing is a crime. Safety is a right.
