📢 HEADS UP – Kindergarten Age Requirement for SY 2025–2026

The Philippines Department of Education (DepEd), through DepEd Order No. 15, s. 2025 (issued on June 4, 2025), has amended the Kindergarten enrollment age requirement:

✅ Children must be 5 years old on or before October 31, 2025 to enroll in Kindergarten.

📌 Conditional enrollment:
Children born between November 1 and December 31, 2025 may still enroll if they either:
🔸Complete a one-year Early Childhood Development (ECD) program, or
🔸Successfully pass the ECE readiness checklist at enrollment.

🎯 Goal: This revision aims to offer greater flexibility, ensuring that children born later in the year are given ample opportunity to enroll based on individual readiness.

Carmen Elementary School will hold its Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off Ceremony on June 10 at 7:30 AM.

Brigada Eskwela aims to harness community participation to address resource gaps in schools by contributing time, effort, and resources. The initiative also promotes disaster preparedness, environmental awareness, and school safety.

CES calls on all stakeholders (parents, teachers, students, alumni, private organizations, and community volunteers) to participate in this week-long activity that fosters community spirit and ensures safe, clean, and conducive learning environments.

This year’s theme, “Sama-sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa", highlights a nationwide effort and volunteerism on literacy development.
