Proclamation 759, series of 1996, was issued by President Fidel V. Ramos to declare the fourth week of March every year as the "Protection and Gender-Fair Treatment of the Girl Child Week" ¹. This proclamation aims to provide equal opportunities and adequate protection to girl children below 18 years old, preparing them for their role in community development.

This proclamation is part of the Philippine government's efforts to promote gender equality, protect children's rights, and empower women and girls.

Calatagan National High School Station 2 (at CSHS) simultaneously celebrated with the CNHS main campus in observance of National Women's Month. Thanks to Ma'am Mhea Madeanne for leading the Zumba Dance. We are also grateful to Ma'am Carmela Dawn for taking photos for documentation, and especially to Doc Maricel for overseeing the attendance of teachers and students who participated in the event.
