A woman is not just defined by the labels society gives her, but by her strength, her voice, and the choices she makes for herself. Despite years of unfair treatment and limits, women continue to rise, support one another, and create change in their communities.

This Women’s Month, we celebrate the strength and courage women show every day. May we continue to uplift one another and build a world where every woman is respected and heard.

In 1986, the People Power Revolution showed that leadership is not defined only by those in power, but also by citizens who refuse to accept injustice. Filipinos gathered along EDSA and demanded accountability, proving that collective action can change the course of a nation.

Today, February 25, 2026, marks the 40th anniversary of this historic event. This moment reminds us that democracy is not permanent. It continues to stand when citizens remain aware and choose to speak rather than stay silent.

This day is more than a remembrance of history. It is a reminder that each of us has a role in protecting our rights, holding leaders accountable, and helping shape a fair and democratic society.

After spending many meaningful years guiding our organization, our 𝑺𝑯𝑺 𝑨𝒅𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒓, 𝑴𝒂'𝒂𝒎 𝑽𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂 𝑯. 𝑴𝒂𝒅𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒂𝒍, now moves on to a new chapter in her teaching journey. As this chapter comes to a close, we look back with deep gratitude for the time, patience, and dedication you have shared with The Parthenon.

Throughout those years, your guidance shaped more than our roles as members. It shaped the values we learned to carry. Through your steady leadership and genuine care, Parth grew into a community grounded in unity, discipline, and purpose, built on the lessons you consistently instilled in us.

Because of this, the foundation you helped build will continue to keep The Parthenon strong, not only today but for the many students who will follow after us. As you move forward, we bring these lessons with us, knowing that your influence will remain part of our journey wherever we go.

This 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 29, 2025, The Parthenon: OMNHS Debate Society held its 𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓-𝑬𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒚 at 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐱 𝐊𝐓𝐕 𝐁𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 located at 𝐓𝐚𝐰𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐧, 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲. There was also a theme to make the event more joyful. The theme was: 𝘼𝙡𝙗𝙪𝙢 𝘾𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨. Do note that the organization made sure there was parental consent for external liabilities. The attendance was also voluntary to keep the party grooving. 🎼
