Despite the heavy rain, the CCC School of Law community gathered with renewed hope, purpose, and gratitude as it formally welcomed its law students for Academic Year 2026โ2027.
The orientation began with a warm and inspiring welcome from ๐๐๐๐. ๐ ., ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐๐ ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐น ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ฎ๐, who welcomed the new generation of law studentsโfrom the freshmen to the upper-year students. His message set the tone for the gathering: a reminder that the pursuit of law is not only about learning the law, but also about developing the character, discipline, and sense of responsibility expected of those who aspire to serve justice.
This was followed by the formal Studentsโ Orientation led by ๐๐๐๐. ๐๐ฎ๐พ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป, one of the faculty members of the CCC School of Law, who discussed the Juris Doctor Program, grading system, student discipline, academic policies, and institutional guidelines. The session provided students with a clear understanding of the standards and responsibilities that come with being part of the CCC School of Law.
The State of the School Address of the Law Student Government (LSG) was then delivered by ๐ ๐ฟ. 3rd Year Law Student and LSG President, highlighting the accomplishments and milestones of the LSG throughout its one-year term of service. It was a reflection of the studentsโ collective efforts and a reminder of what can be achieved through leadership, unity, and genuine service to the law student community.
Adding inspiration to the occasion was the presence of ๐ ๐. Governor of the Association of Law Students of the Philippines (ALSP), who shared an inspiring message with the students and encouraged them to remain committed to their journey in legal education and to the greater responsibility that awaits them beyond the classroom.
The students were likewise introduced to the latest codals and legal collections of Rex Book Store through a presentation by its Regional Sales Manager, ๐ ๐ฟ. The session was made even more engaging through a raffle that brought excitement and smiles to the law students.
The formal program continued with the Symbolic Commissioning, led by
๐ ๐ผ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ, faculty member of the CCC School of Law. The commissioning served as a meaningful symbol of the studentsโ readiness to embrace the responsibilities, discipline, and challenges that come with the study and practice of lawโa formal sending forth of the students as they begin another chapter of their journey toward becoming members of the legal profession.
The program concluded with the closing remarks of ๐๐ฟ. Vice President for Academic Affairs, whose message left the students with renewed inspiration as they prepared to face another academic year with courage, commitment, and purpose.
More than an orientation, the gathering was a renewal of commitmentโto learning, to discipline, to service, and ultimately, to justice.
And perhaps the rain was fitting.
Despite the heavy rain, blessings poured even more abundantly as the CCC School of Law welcomed another academic year and a new chapter in the journey of its law students.
With faith as our foundation and justice as our calling, we move forward.
