Please be informed that the deadline for the submission of Certificates of Candidacy (COC) is set on 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 7, 2026,.

As the current academic year draws to a close, this is the final week to file your candidacy. Please ensure that all requirements are submitted before the deadline.

The Commission on Student Elections (COMSELEC) is officially releasing the results of the student elections held last Friday, April 17, 2026.

In accordance with our election guidelines, a candidate must reach a specific threshold to be successfully elected. Out of the 495 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁, a candidate must secure at least 60% 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 to assume their respective position.

The Commission on Student Elections (COMSELEC) hereby announces that the recent elections for the following positions have been declared null and void as they failed to meet the required voter turnout threshold:

In coordination with the Office of Student Development Services (OSDS) and the Student Organizations Unit (SOU), a re-election has been scheduled for the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 of 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 2026-2027.

We are officially reopening the filing of candidacies for the positions listed above.

Filing Period: Starts Monday, April 20, 2026

Duration: Open for fifteen (15) working days

Application Process: Interested students may secure and submit their Candidacy Forms at the OSDS Office.

We encourage all qualified student leaders to step forward and take part in shaping our student government for the upcoming year.
