Forty years is more than just a milestone; it’s a testament to the enduring spirit of a nation that chose hope over fear. As we mark the 40th Anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, we remember that our democracy wasn’t a gift—it was a hard-won victory of the Filipino spirit.

Today, we honor the courage of those who stood their ground with nothing but prayers, flowers, and an unwavering love for country. Let the yellow ribbons and the sea of people remain a reminder that power truly resides in the hands of the many, not the few.

Let us carry the lessons of 1986 into the future. It’s not just about looking back; it’s about moving forward with the same vigilance and unity. May we never forget the price of our freedom and the strength we found in each other.

On this Rizal Day, we gather as one nation to honor the life and sacrifice of Dr. José Rizal, whose martyrdom 129 years ago became a turning point in our struggle for freedom. Rizal was not only a man of letters and science, but also a visionary who believed in the power of education, truth, and compassion to transform society. His writings awakened the spirit of nationalism in the hearts of Filipinos, reminding us that dignity and justice are rights worth defending.

As we commemorate his martyrdom, we remember that Rizal’s courage was not born of violence, but of conviction — his pen became his weapon, his ideals his shield, and his love for country his enduring legacy. His death at Bagumbayan was not the end, but the spark that ignited a revolution and inspired generations to continue the fight for liberty.

Today, 129 years later, Rizal’s message remains timeless. He calls us to be vigilant against oppression, to nurture wisdom and compassion, and to build a nation where fairness and respect prevail. May we honor his memory not only in words, but in deeds — by striving to be responsible citizens, by uplifting our communities, and by carrying forward his dream of a Philippines that is free, just, and united.

Isang makasaysayang yugto ang ating nasasaksihan. Ang paghirang kina Marjolyn F. Flores, LPT at Jofelyn F. Urian, LPT bilang mga ganap na G**o ay hindi lamang isang personal na tagumpay; ito ay isang dakilang tagumpay para sa buong pamayanang Agta at sa Cagayan State University - Lallo.

Sa bawat puyat, pagod, at sakripisyong inyong pinagdaanan, pinatunayan ninyo na ang pangarap ay walang kinikilalang hangganan at ang pagsisikap ay walang pinipiling katayuan. Kayo ang buhay na patotoo na ang talino at husay ay nananalaytay sa bawat katutubong nagnanais magsilbi at maglingkod.

Para sa ating mga kapatid na Agta at sa lahat ng mga katutubong kabataan na nangangarap din sa ilalim ng mga bituin. Huwag kailanman hayaang limitahan ng inyong katayuan ang lawak ng inyong pananaw. Ang inyong kultura ay inyong lakas, at ang edukasyon ang inyong magiging sandata upang protektahan at paunlarin ang inyong lahi.

Kina Marjolyn at Jofelyn, ang inyong pagpasa sa Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers ay nagsisilbing liwanag na gagabay sa mga susunod pang henerasyon. Kayo ang magiging tinig ng inyong tribu sa loob ng mga silid-aralan, at kayo ang magsisilbing tulay upang ang iba pang mga kabataang katutubo ay mangarap din at maniwala na kaya nilang maging doktor, enhinyero, o gaya ninyo—mga dakilang g**o.

Mataas na pagpupugay at malugod na pagbati mula sa buong Pamilya ng BEED!

Itaas ang noo at ipagmalaki ang inyong pinagmulan. Ang inyong tagumpay ay tagumpay nating lahat. Padayon, mga G**o ng Bayan!

It's also a powerful day of remembrance as we mark the 28th anniversary of the IPRA (Indigenous Peoples' Rights Act). This law is a testament to the nation's commitment to uphold the rights, respect the ancestral domains, and preserve the cultural identity of our ICCs/IPs.
