In line with the celebration of the World Tourism Day 2023, the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization ( YES-O), together with the Supreme Seconday Learner Govenment ( SSLG) Barkada Kontra Droga ( BKD), Gattaran Volleyball Club of the Don Mariano Marcos National High School, the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) officers and members, SK Federation participated in the planting activity entitled " One Tree, One Hope, One Life." headed by the Honorable Mayor, Engr. Samuel Siddayao held at Burayok Falls Basao , Gattaran, Cagayan.

This activity supports the projects and programs of the YES-O which aim to protect the environment, mitigate the effects of global warming and climate change and conserve biodiversity for future generations.

On behalf of the Don Mariano Marcos National High School, headed by our supportive Principal, Dr. Rita C. Corpuz, we would like to express our gratitude to the LYDC, Tourism Office, and LGU Gattaran headed by the Hon. Mayor, Engr. Samuel Siddayao for giving us the opportunity to be part of this activity. We would also like to thank our principal for always supporting us in our projects, programs and activities.
