Northern Camalaniugan NHS Wins 2nd Runner-Up in Christmas Carols Contest
Camalaniugan, Cagayan – Northern Camalaniugan National High School proudly won 2nd Runner-Up (Secondary) in the Christmas Carols Song and Dance Contest.
The contest was part of the municipality’s annual Christmas celebration.
NCNHS was also awarded Most Lively Group, recognizing the team’s energy and festive spirit.
The achievement was made possible through the dedication and teamwork of the student participants.
Their efforts were guided by MAPEH teacher Ms. Kathleen Kate Bueno.
Support was also extended by Socio-Cultural Coordinator Ma’am Mishelle B. Pimentero.
The school’s leadership under School Head Sir Ruben L. Dubla Jr. played a key role in mentoring and encouraging the team.
This recognition reflects NCNHS’s commitment to fostering student talent and creativity.
It also showcases the school’s dedication to promoting school spirit among its learners.
The festive performance contributed to making the holiday season in Camalaniugan more vibrant.

Just In| NORTHERN CAMALANIUGAN NHS STUDENT BAGS 3RD PLACE IN FOOD PROCESSING CONTEST
Alcala, Cagayan – Antonette Fieldad, a student of Northern Camalaniugan National High School, proudly secured 3rd place in the Food Processing Contest during the Congressional District 1 Festival of Talents held today at Baybayog National High School, Alcala, Cagayan.
Fieldad showcased her skills in food preparation and product development, impressing judges with her technique, creativity, and adherence to safety standards. Her achievement highlights not only her dedication to the technical-vocational field but also the strong support system behind her.
With this win, she is now qualified to represent District 1 in the 2025 Division Festival of Talents, where she will compete against other top-performing students in the Schools Division of Cagayan.
She was mentored and guided by her coach, Dr. Jenalyn O. Fernando, whose expertise and encouragement contributed greatly to Fieldad’s success.

The work immersion students of Northern Camalaniugan NHS have officially started their deployment to various partner agencies, including Cagayan State University, the Local Government Unit of Camalaniugan, Bureau of Fire Protection Camalaniugan Station, and Alilinu Elementary School, Dec. 1, 2025.
Accompanied by their dedicated work immersion focal persons, Dr. Jenalyn O. Fernando and Mr. Vicente G. Javier, our students are ready to gain valuable hands-on experience, develop their skills, and contribute meaningfully to the community. Here’s to a fruitful and inspiring learning journey!

NCNHS Inks 100% Passing Rate for Four Consecutive Years as Batch 2 of NC II Food Processing Assessment Concludes
Northern Camalaniugan National High School (NCNHS) celebrated another milestone with the successful completion of the second batch of the National Certificate II Assessment in Food Processing.
The assessment was conducted at the TESDA Lasam Institute of Technology, the school’s long-standing partner in delivering quality technical-vocational training.
Four TVL Grade 12 learners from NCNHS took part in the second batch of the NC II Food Processing assessment.
All four learners successfully passed, adding to the earlier batch’s achievements this year.
This brings the total number of passers to a perfect 14 out of 14 TVL learners for the current school year.
With this achievement, NCNHS has once again secured a 100% passing rate in the NC II Food Processing qualification.
The school has maintained this impeccable rating for four consecutive years.
Mr. Ruben L. Dubla Jr., School Head, credited the learners’ dedication and the teachers’ consistent guidance for this sustained success.
TVL teacher, Dr. Jenalyn O. Fernando, expressed pride in their students’ commitment to mastering the required competencies.
The accomplishment is also seen as a testament to the strong partnership between NCNHS and TESDA.
Administrators highlighted that access to quality facilities and certified assessors greatly contributed to the learners’ readiness.
NCNHS continues to uphold its mission of producing competent, industry-ready graduates through its strengthened TVL program.

Guided by the dedication of our Work Immersion Focal Persons, Dr. Jenalyn O. Fernando and Mr. Vicente G. Javier, and with the unwavering support of our School Head, Sir Ruben Dubla Jr., our learners are now one step closer to facing the real world with confidence. With strengthened partnerships, informed parents, and empowered students, NCNHS continues to shape graduates who are ready to rise, thrive, and take on the challenges ahead.

NCNHS TVL Batch 1 Achieves 100% Passing Rate in NC II Assessment
Northern Camalaniugan National High School proudly celebrates a 100% passing rate for the Batch 1 TVL–Food Processing students who successfully completed the National Certificate II (NC II) Assessment at TESDA–Lasam Institute of Technology, Lasam, Cagayan.
Guided under the expertise and consistent support of their Food Processing Teacher and Adviser, Dr. Jenalyn O. Fernando, the learners demonstrated competence, readiness, and mastery of the required skills aligned with TESDA’s national standards.
The outstanding performance of the first batch reflects the school’s strong commitment to quality technical–vocational education and the dedication of both teachers and learners to achieve industry-level skills.
Meanwhile, four additional TVL students from NCNHS are set to undergo their assessment in Batch 2, continuing the school’s pursuit of excellence in technical and vocational training.
NCNHS remains steadfast in empowering its learners with practical skills, preparing them for future employment and certification opportunities in the field of food processing.
