𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | Sta. Teresita National High School has made a significant contribution by lending its Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) equipment to Luga National High School on November 25, 2024. The arrangement was formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) made and signed between Luga National High School and Sta. Teresita National High School represented by their school heads, Ma’am Evangeline Acebedo and Ma'am Mary Ann Madrid, respectively.
The preparation of the MOA and other relevant documentation for the transfer of custody of the equipment was undertaken by Maam Joselyn P. Mari, HT3 and property custodian. The provision of this TVL equipment is expected to play a vital role in enhancing the culinary skills of the students at Luga National High School, offering them practical experience that will contribute to their development and proficiency in cooking. This collaboration represents a significant advancement in supporting the educational pursuits and future opportunities of the students.

The 2024 Intramurals at Sta. Teresita National High School, themed "Battle of Teresiano Athletes: Building Character, Brewing Champions," commenced with considerable enthusiasm under the guidance of School Principal Ma’am Mary Ann C. Madrid. The event was attended by Public Schools District Supervisor Sir Jose P. Acorda
faculty members, the MAPEH Club, friends, and various stakeholders.
The day's activities began with a vibrant parade around the school oval, which showcased the spirited engagement of both students and faculty. This was succeeded by an impressive opening performance by the STNHS teachers, which energized the audience. Subsequently, students participated in a dynamic unity dance, further emphasizing their camaraderie and teamwork.
Ma’am Febe D. Viloria, Head Teacher III, delivered an inspiring opening address that underscored the significance of character development through sports. The lighting of the torch, performed by the 3x3 basketball players who had competed in CAVRAA, symbolized the spirit of competition and excellence.
Clyde Cipriano led the Oath of Sportsmanship, while Sir Judy Mar Tabula administered the Oath for the officiating officials. A memorable moment ensued with the raising of banners, facilitated by Sir Jose Acorda, with assistance from Ma’am Mary Ann C. Madrid and the muses and escorts of each team.
In his address, Sir Acorda highlighted the fundamental role of sports in cultivating discipline and teamwork. Following this, Ma’am Mary Ann, officially declared the intramurals open. The opening festivities concluded with an exhilarating exhibition volleyball match featuring Ma’am Mary Ann and Sir Jose, which captivated all attendees.
The 2024 Intramurals are anticipated to offer a week rich in athletic excellence, character development, and spirited competition among the Teresiano athletes.

Sta. Teresita National High School conducted the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill, under the leadership of Principal Ma'am Mary Ann C. Madrid ,DRRM School Coordinator Maam Benigna A.Tabaco and the STNHS KALASAG Team. The primary objective of this initiative was to enhance earthquake preparedness and ensure the safety of both students and staff in the event of a natural disaster.
The drill received substantial support from the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) of Sta. Teresita, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) ,Bureau of Fire Protection(BFP),Philippine Marines, and the Philippine National Police (PNP). The involvement of these key agencies highlighted the significance of community collaboration in disaster preparedness and response efforts.
During the exercise, participants, including students, teachers, and staff, adhered to established safety protocols by practicing the "duck, cover, and hold" technique, followed by a systematic evacuation to designated safe zones. The MDRRMC Team offered guidance on enhancing school preparedness, while the PNP ensured the security and orderly ex*****on of the drill.
Principal Ma'am Mary Ann C. Madrid underscored the necessity of conducting regular earthquake drills within educational institutions to foster a culture of safety and resilience. She expressed gratitude to the KALASAG Team and the participating agencies for their ongoing support in promoting the welfare of the school community.
This event is part of a broader national initiative aimed at advancing earthquake preparedness across various sectors, encouraging all individuals to remain vigilant and proactive in disaster risk management.

Naging masagana ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan Ng Wika sa Sta. Teresita National High School, ngayong Agosto 30, 2024. Sa naturing na pagdiriwang, naipakita ang pagmamahal at pagpapahalaga sa ating wika, Filipino.
"Filipino: Wikang Mapagpalaya",
ay ang tema para sa buwan ng wika sa taong ito. Wika ang naging daan sa ating kalayaan. Ito rin ay simbolo ng ating pagkakakilanlan. Ngunit sa henerasyon ngayon na ating kinabibilangan, ang wika natin at tila patuloy na pinapalitan.
Kaya't mas naging espesyal ang pagdiriwang ng buwan ng wika, sapagkat ito ay isang araw upang maipakita natin ang ating pagmamahal at pagtangkilik sa ating wikang mapagpalaya.
Naisabuhay ang temang ito, sa mga pagtatanghal na ipinakita ng mga estudyante. Tiyak na dugo't pawis ang inilaan ng mga estudyante at mga g**o para sa mga aktong kanilang ipinakita.
Mula sa ika-7 baitang hanggang sa ika-12, sila ay nagpakita ng talento na talagang nakakapag alab ng pusong Pilipino
Isang pagpupugay para sa mga nagwagi sa araw na ito! Pati na rin sa mga hindi pinalad! Sana'y nabawi ang bawat hirap ng preparasiyon para sa araw na ito.
Hindi lamang ang mga aktong ganito, ang paraan upang maipakita natin ang ating pagmamahal sa ating wika. Sa simpleng paggamit, at pagaral nito ay sapat na, upang maisabuhay natin ang wikang ating ipinaglaban. Ang ating wikang nagpalaya.

The Sta. Teresita National High School recently experienced a unique opportunity for oversight by the Schools Division Office of Cagayan. This monitoring process was led by Schools Division Superintendent Sir Reynante Z. Caliguiran, PhD,CESO V with support from Sir Antonio Balisi, Administrative Officer IV. The initiative aimed to address various issues and concerns pertinent to the commencement of classes for the 2024–2025 academic year.
The monitoring activities were overseen by Public Schools District Supervisor Ma'am Ellen Florita Bosi. In her absence, Ma'am Mary Ann C. Madrid, the School Principal III of Sta. Teresita National High School assumed the role of Officer-in-Charge (OIC) for the Sta Teresita District. The monitoring team offered technical assistance to facilitate a seamless and effective start to the school year.

The Brigada Kick-Off event at Sta.Teresita National High School was successfully inaugurated under the leadership of Ma'am Mary Ann C. Madrid, PhD, alongside head teachers Ma'am Benigna A. Tabaco, Ma'am Febe D. Viloria, and Ma'am Joselyn Mari, as well as the school's dedicated educators and students.
The event was graced by the presence of Hon. J***y Corpuz, SGC Co-Chairperson Elect Hon. Eugene T. Asuncion, MFPTA President, members of the Philippines National Police of Sta.Teresita , the Philippine Marines, SB Member Atty. Desiree Garcia Dinulong, Tupad of Barangay Centro East, Villa and other stakeholders of Sta.Teresita
Mr. Corpuz commenced the event with opening remarks, followed by a statement of purpose from Ma'am Tabaco.
Ma'am Mari then introduced the volunteers who will be participating in the initiative.
Hon. Eugene T. Asuncion emphasized the generous contributions from the SK and Barangay Council of Centro East under the leadership of Barangay Captain Winifred De Gracia totalling 20,000 pesos in materials for the school's improvement.
The program featured a Pledge of Commitment from the PNP, the Philippine Marines, the Tupad Group( Barangay Centro East and Villa) ,SSG President John Carlo Gardaya and other stakeholders.
Ma'am Viloria, overseeing the Brigada Eskwela, presented the Brigada Work Plan and Schedule of Daily Attendance.
The day concluded with a formal declaration by Ma'am Joselyn P. Mari, the event's organizing officer.
