June 25, 2025 – Baggao, Cagayan

In celebration of Philippine Environment Month, the Baggao South Central School (BSCS) proudly joined the municipality-wide initiative through a Tree Planting Activity held on June 25, 2025, right at the BSCS school grounds.

The event was actively participated in by school principal Mrs. Elisa E. Jose, together with teachers, Supreme Elementary Learners Government (SELG) officers, Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) members, and the Math Club.

With a shared goal of promoting environmental awareness and sustainability, the participants planted a variety of tree seedlings within the school campus. This initiative was not only a response to the call of the Municipality of Baggao for community action but also part of the school’s ongoing efforts to create a greener and healthier learning environment.

The activity served as a hands-on learning experience for the students, fostering a deeper understanding of their role in caring for the planet. It also highlighted the school’s commitment to supporting the Department of Education’s Greening Program and national environmental campaigns.
