CELEBRATING AN INTENSIFIED SCHOOL-BASED UNITED NATION 2023

As Kofi Annan once said, “More than ever before in human history, we share a common destiny. We can master it only if we face it together. And that, my friends, is why we have the United Nations.”
Hence, the Dassunville Christian Academy conducted its school-based United Nation Celebration at Dassun, Solana, Cagayan with strong belief that said activity promotes the significant of protecting human rights, delivers humanitarian aid, promotes sustainable development and upholds international law. The UN Day’s overarching theme of “Equality, Freedom, and Justice for All” is indeed characterized by fashionable and pretty regalia of different countries which wore by pupils of 3-4 years of age under the tutelage of Ms. Liezel B. Balisi, school teacher, and supervision of Rev. Valentin C. Cagurangan, School Head, who spearheaded the event.
The representation of countries thru costumes was exposed thru entertaining pageantry among the pupils and judged by Barangay Kagawad who are truly supportive for the conduct of the activity. Consequently, the outcome of aforesaid occasion resulted to happiness, pleasure and unending support among proud parents who witnessed the brazen actions performed by their children as they shouted their representing countries.
Finally, kudos! to the participants especially the winners. Indeed, this school-based event serves as channel to inform the public the essence of equality, freedom and justice. The joy is reflected in the faces of children-participants as they showcased their regalia.
