They turn coffee into code, and chaos into order. โ˜•

IT professionals don't just fix computersโ€”they pull technological miracles out of a hat every single day. While the rest of us just see a working screen, they are behind the curtain managing invisible data flows, blocking cyber threats, and weaving complex digital infrastructure.

They are the magicians of the modern workforce. You might not always see how they do it, but you definitely notice the magic!

Happy IT Pro day drom us all in the CSUMIS Office.

In line with its commitment to digital transformation, CSU Calayan Extension has successfully implemented a Centralized Biometric System, marking another significant milestone in its ongoing SMART Campus Transformation initiative.

The system was installed on July 6, 2026, through the collaborative efforts of the Management Information Systems (MIS) Office, led by the Campus MIS Coordinator, in coordination with Mr. Ferdinand Liquigan, CSU Calayan Extension CICS Track Coordinator. The implementation was completed remotely with the valuable technical assistance of Ms. Michelle Ruth V. Biado, Mr. Marvin Q. Uanang, and Mr. Vince Gilbert Cabasag, whose expertise ensured the seamless installation, configuration, and integration of the system.

This achievement was made possible through the unwavering support and visionary leadership of Dr. Rodel Francisco T. Alegado, Campus Executive Officer and Mr. Rex S. Dullit, Campus Superintendent, whose dedication to innovation continues to advance campus security, operational efficiency, and digital transformation.

The Centralized Biometric System is expected to strengthen campus security, improve attendance monitoring and access management, streamline administrative processes, and reinforce CSU Calayan Extensionโ€™s commitment to providing a smarter, more efficient, and technology-driven learning environment.
