This Valentine’s Day, the 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙗 teamed up with 𝘾𝙉𝙃𝙎–𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 faculty, staff, and fellow organizations for 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐄𝐄𝐃 3.0, a tree-planting activity full of mud, teamwork, and green love 🌳. Roses 🌹? Chocolates 🍫? Nah—we swapped them for 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘴 🪓 and 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴 🌱!

While bouquets fade, our seeds grow—and so does our love for the planet! 🪴💪

As the month comes to an end, it's once again time for an exciting TRIVIA session! 🧠✨ Let's discover the fascinating connection between the beauty of science and the wonders of faith. 👨‍🔬🙏



It is stated in the Book of Job that God made a "weight for the winds." 💨⚖️ This is profound because it was assumed for thousands of years that air has no weight. The scientific fact that the atmosphere has mass and exerts pressure ("weight"), was only proven in the 17th century, during experiments involving barometers performed by scientists such as Evangelista Torricelli and Blaise Pascal.

The second part of the verse states "he weigheth the waters by measure." 💧🌊 This also refers to the remarkable precision of Earth's hydrological system. The hydrological cycle on earth, from the entirety of oceans, land, atmosphere, and back to land comprises variable amounts of water but is an incredibly finite measure of water that follows consistent natural laws and measurements.

Job is revealing facts of the natural world and its consistent measurements that science would be foraying into thousands of years later. These statements are evidence of God's providential involvement in the natural world and those standards that accompany it, including the weight of air and distributed measures of the earth's expanse.
