Kate Xyryn P..Fernandez, Grade-V pupil, proudly brought honor to our school after winning bronze medal in the Chess Standard Individual Category and silver medal in team standard category and during the recently concluded CAVRAA Meet 2026 held at Santiago City, Isabela.

The prestigious regional competition gathered talented young athletes from across Region II, showcasing not only physical strength but also intellectual excellence in various sports, including chess.

Throughout the tournament, Fernandez demonstrated remarkable strategic thinking, patience, and composure. Each match highlighted their ability to anticipate opponents’ moves and respond with calculated decisions, earning them a well-deserved spot among the top finishers.

School officials, coaches, and fellow learners expressed pride and admiration for the achievement, emphasizing that this victory reflects dedication, discipline, and countless hours of training.
The accomplishment not only brings recognition to the school but also inspires other young learners to pursue excellence in both academics and extracurricular activities.
With this success, the student sets an example of perseverance and sportsmanship, proving that determination and hard work can lead to remarkable achievements on the regional stage.

PSES participates in the Nationwide Toothbrushing Drill today, February 2, 2026.

The Nationwide Toothbrushing Drill was conducted to promote proper oral hygiene and instill the habit of regular toothbrushing among learners.

During the drill, learners were guided on the correct toothbrushing techniques, including gentle brushing in circular motions, and brushing all surfaces of the teeth and tongue. The activity was supervised by teachers to ensure that proper procedures were followed.

The drill was successfully carried out with active participation from the learners. Through this activity, learners were encouraged to practice brushing to develop good oral hygiene habits as part of a healthy lifestyle.

Early registration is for incoming learners at specific levels, including:
☑️Kindergarten
☑️Grade 1
☑️Grade 7
☑️Grade 11
☑️It’s also for new learners transferring in or those joining programs like Alternative Learning System (ALS).

Learners who are simply moving up (e.g., Grade 2–6, 8–10, and 12) are generally already considered pre-registered and don’t need early registration unless transferring or returning after being out of school.
