XU has been awarded Institutional Accreditation Status, the highest distinction by the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP), following the PAASCU accreditation of its individual programs. This top-tier accreditation affirms that Xavier Ateneo meets the highest standards in teaching, research, and operations, reflecting its accomplishments across the five major FAAP criteria.

We’re proud to share that Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan ranks 13th in the Philippines and within the 951–1000 band in Asia in the 2026 QS Asian University Rankings!

XU has consistently remained in the QS rankings over the years—placing 13th in 2025 and 16th in 2024. We thank the entire Xavier Ateneo community for their continued dedication and excellence that make this recognition possible.
