The training at the DOH Treatment and Rehabilitation Center – CDO has been successfully completed, with a total of 𝟓𝟒 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐈 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐌𝐀𝐖 𝐍𝐂 𝐈 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦.
Karon, dili na lang sila completers—kundi mga indibidwal nga andam na magsugod pag-usab ug tukoron ang ilang kaugmaon. Kini usa ka lig-on nga pamatuod nga ang pagbag-o tinuod ug posible.

This milestone was made possible through the support and collaboration of our partners and key individuals. Representing VSA, Ms. Marivic Martinez delivered the opening remarks. Mr. Mark Adrian S. Baa, Vocational Instruction Supervisor, shared his message with the completers, together with Ms. Jashrina L. Aujasa, who delivered the SMAW alumni testimonial. We also acknowledge Dr. Michelle F. Lopez, Chief of Hospital III, for her inspirational message, and Mr. Marvyn Lee D. Ladlad, Chief Health Program Officer, for delivering the closing remarks. The training was conducted by Ms. Gay Marie Hawinay and Mr. Brian Largo.

Theme: “𝘔𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘐𝘵: 𝘚𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘩𝘰”

The TSTI – Quarter 2 Orientation Seminar was successfully conducted on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at the CCCDO Audio Visual Room from 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN. The activity aimed to welcome and orient trainees on the programs, services, and opportunities offered by the 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗼 – 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 for the Second Quarter.

The program began with a Kamustahan facilitated by the emcees, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗴 and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗟𝗮 𝗙𝘂𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲, followed by the Welcome Remarks of 𝗗𝗿. 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗺𝗮𝗲 𝗘. 𝗧𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻, Vice President for Academic Affairs, who encouraged learners to stay committed throughout their training. An inspirational message was also delivered by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶 𝗣. 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗮, City College President, highlighting the importance of technical education, discipline, and perseverance.

The seminar included the Presentation of Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff led by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗶𝗻 𝗠. 𝗣𝗶𝗼𝘀, Vocational School Administrator, allowing trainees to become familiar with the faculty and staff who will guide them throughout their training. One of the highlights of the seminar was the segment “𝘎𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘒𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘊𝘊𝘊𝘋𝘖 & 𝘛𝘚𝘛𝘐”, where important information about the institution and its programs was presented. Discussions included 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟭: 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗖𝗖𝗖𝗗𝗢, 𝗧𝗦𝗧𝗜, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗔𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦. 𝗕𝗮𝗮, Vocational Instruction Supervisor; 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗰 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘇, LSS Focal; 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟮: 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗴, JOLINS Focal, together with 𝗠𝘀. 𝗥𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲 𝗘. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗼, Assessment Center Manager, who discussed the assessment process; and 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟯: 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗼, EE, Lead Trainer of Electrical Installation and Maintenance NCII.

The activity provided trainees with a better understanding of their training journey, assessment procedures, and future career opportunities. The program concluded with the Closing Remarks of 𝗠𝗿. 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗶𝗻 𝗠. 𝗣𝗶𝗼𝘀, who thanked everyone for their participation and encouraged them to strive for excellence.

The seminar also highlighted the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟰: 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟴: 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 and 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟭𝟳: 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀, through the promotion of quality education, skills development, and collaboration for workforce readiness.
