We proudly announce that the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering program has been granted Level IV Accreditation by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) — the highest level of program accreditation!

This recognition signifies excellence in instruction, research, extension, and institutional qualifications, and affirms our commitment to producing globally competitive and industry-ready mechanical engineers.

On April 4, 2025, the College of Engineering and Architecture conducted an Academe-Industry Forum to strengthen collaboration between the academic community and the industry sector. The forum aimed to ensure that program outcomes, particularly in Mechanical Engineering, remain responsive to the evolving needs and standards of the industry.

To support this initiative, the Department invited representatives from various companies, including Nestlé Philippines Inc. (CDO Plant), Del Monte Philippines Inc. (Bugo Cannery), and FDC Misamis Power Corporation.

This initiative underscores the departments commitment to bridging the gap between academic instruction and industry expectations, paving the way for more industry-ready graduates and stronger institutional partnerships.

The USTP Mechanical Engineering Department proudly celebrates our 62 new Mechanical Engineers for achieving an impressive 80.52% passing rate, securing our place as the Top 3 Performing Schools in the February 2025 Mechanical Engineering Licensure Exam!

This recent exam was very challenging, but you remained steadfast and resilient in pursuing your goals. Be proud of how far you’ve come! And to those who didn’t make it this time, this is not the end—keep pushing forward, learn from this experience, and come back stronger!
