𝐋𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐨 𝐔 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 proudly celebrates a remarkable milestone as 49 out of 52 Grade 9 and 10 students successfully passed the 𝙁𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝘿𝙚𝙪𝙩𝙨𝙘𝙝 (𝙁𝙞𝙩 𝘼1) Examination held last February 27, 2026.

This outstanding performance highlights not only an impressive passing rate but also the students’ discipline, perseverance, and readiness to thrive in a global academic landscape.

Administered by the Goethe-Institut Philippinen, the Fit A1 Exam is an internationally recognized certification that validates foundational German language proficiency among young learners. Preparing for and completing this assessment reflects the students’ strong commitment to developing practical communication skills while deepening their appreciation of German language and culture.

This milestone further reinforces Liceo U Junior High School’s mission to nurture globally competent learners and foster meaningful cultural connections. 🌍🎓

What day is it today? IS IT VALENTINES DAY? Well... NO! But here's another PHRASE OF THE WEEK just for you! Today's Phrase of the Week is funny: "Kein Schwein versteht mich!“ 🐷

Literally, it means “No pig understands me!” 🤣
But please don't take it seriously, dieser Deutsche phrase means that nobody understands you, or that you feel unheard and misunderstood by others.

Germans say this informally to express FRUSTRATION when their thoughts or feelings aren’t getting through to people around them. 😡 It’s not meant to be offensive — the word “Schwein” here is just part of the idiom! 😊

Hallo und Guten Rutsch, DeuV 🎇! Is the New Years Resolution all set? Well it should be! As we welcome this New Year, we should also welcome the first ever POTW this 2026. Instead of Hello Holidays, we say Hello Montag! 🤣

Heute's Phrase der Woche is "NUR BAHNHOF VERSTEHEN" which literally means "I only understand train station".❓

"I only UNDERSTAND train station", it means that he/she has absolutely NO idea what you are talking about.
If someone tells this, you'll either need to explain it AGAIN or CHANGE the topic completely. In Tagalog slang pa, this would be “Diko gets!”. 🤷‍♂️
